The brown sugar is mild if you just do just like the instructions says. I personally add more brown sugar to cook with it and it’s DELICIOUS and chewy !The price is pretty good and I don’t use a lot of bobas when I make boba milktea .it will definitely last for two weeks for me .I am really satisfied with this project. I am so glad Amazon actually sell it

First time I've tried these and they are pretty good. The pearls are smaller than another brand I usually buy but the flavor is really good. These have more of a brown sugar flavor than my original brand I get.

Love these. Quick tips: package says to put boiling water on them and let them sit. That didn’t get me what I wanted. Instead boil water, drop in the pearls, cook with the heat still on for 3-4 minutes until you like the texture. Take off the heat. Drain and coat in brown sugar. LET IT SIT for least 10-15 minutes to soak up flavor. They do not have tons of flavor alone but this gets them tasty and a good texture. ;)

These were okay. It has a weird after taste, like minty or something. Not bad, just different from the Boba pearls I've had before. It's easy enough to cook.

Perhaps because I am new to this process I’m a bit critical, but I found these to be tasteless and gummy. I had only tried the bursting boba that were liquid inside and these were not them. They smelled like brown sugar but there was no flavor there.

Easy to cook, texture was ok. Value for your money is fine. I rly liked the low sugar content. When you're cooking it tho, you're like oh man, I hope it doesn't taste like it smells. It does. I was able to drink most of my home made boba around the pearls, but the flavor did absorb into the tea a bit. I'm pretty serious abt not throwing away food, and I did throw away these pearls. The brown sugar flavor is not it. Other flavors may be better? Best keep shopping, tho.
