Packed with needful components!
If you are an electronics hobbyist, this kit filled with components, circuit boards, and other stuff should be right for you. I have already started using it for a couple of my projects, and everything works fine.

Great assortment, Caps / Resistors reasonably close to spec
I have already used one of the micro switches, 3 capacitors, one LED, a few lengths of Dupont headers for various repairs (garage remote, missing caps for Practice Code Oscillators kits, headers for other kits). The cost of replacing our garage remote was more than the cost of this kit that happened to have the exactly PCD mounted switch.Great value. HOWEVER, you need to separate the Resistors & Caps, and Diodes and put all this in other storage containers because this is so tightly packed, you will not be able to (reasonably) get everything back in AND be able to quickly find what you need.

Great value... with some minor flaws
Overall this is an amazing value for a varied supply of electronic components that is great for starting or filling out a hobbyist workbench. The set I received seems to be a newer version than pictured in the listing (see attached photos), with 2200 pieces included, and the "grab bags" itemized. The included items are well packaged and labeled, some in ziplock bags, and some in small plastic organizers that can be re-used for other purposes, a nice little bonus. However this collection comes short of what I would call a "perfect" kit due to some small flaws and oversights that I hope the company can address in future revisions:* The resistor values selected are strange. Standard resistor numbering uses a logarithmic distribution such as E12 (10 12 15 18 22 27 33 39 47 56 68 82). However the included resistors follow a more linear scale (10 22 33 47 56 68 82), meaning many common values are left out. Even stranger, they are metal film 1% tolerance resistors, which is nice, but the E12 distribution is designed with 10% tolerance in mind (as the values are spaced 20% apart). I would have much preferred getting fewer than 20 resistors at each value but having better coverage of the full range, and 1% tolerance is unnecessary (anyone building circuits should be measuring their resistors before using them anyway). As it stands, you'll probably have to supplement your supply from another source to fill out the collection. (It would also be a nice addition to include 1/2w resistors, and maybe 1/8w, but that's not as big a deal, as 1/4w is fine for almost all hobbyist purposes).* I don't understand the logic behind the transistor selection. It includes the staples 2n3904/2n3906, but also includes selections from several other numbering series that I'm unfamiliar with, some of which appear to be redundant (I can't figure out why you would care about the difference between the S9018 and 2n9304 for instance). Because the set leaves out staples such as 2n2222, 2n4401, or even European parts such as BC548, it will leave you poring over datasheets trying to figure out what parts can substitute for what. Also, beware the "C" and "D" series transistors have a different pinout than the rest!* The transistor collection also comes with 10x 78L05 regulators, but those are already included in the "grab bag" (6x). That seems like an unnecessary redundancy, and they could have made room for some more "standard" transistor series instead.* The big plastic box that the whole set comes in looks like it can accept dividers, but none are included in the kit. This simple inclusion would have been a great bonus!* There was one error on the label: It states it includes CD40147 ICs (CMOS priority encoder) but actually included was the CD4017 (CMOS decade counter). It's a toss up which one of those is more useful, they're both kind of random CMOS logic. I'm actually impressed as this appears to be the only error on the label, everything else described the included components exactly! So there you have it. A great kit, worth the purchase price, but with a few tweaks to the included components it could go from great to amazing!

Really Good Selection of Components
This was a good assortment of components. It has a wide variety of components and a decent number of each. If you are setting up a small work area or lab this would be a great starter kit to buy. If you have already started collecting parts I think this would still be a great addition. You may get some duplicates to what you already have but the quantity and variety of components will surely be a nice addition to your collection. Worth the money!!!

Comprehensive assortment
Decent kit with a wide range of components. Took the time to check if I got everything as advertised. Found that I got one or two extra pieces of some components which was gracious of the seller. They even included a little alien pendent which is a cool touch (gave it to someone so I cant post a pic). My only major complaint would be that I received two sets of one resistor value and I'm missing another value. Not much of a big deal for me though. As expected, most if not all the components seem to be from China so don't expect high quality stuff. Regardless they get the job done. I can say at least the resistors seem to be well within the tolerance spec from what I've tested. The ceramic caps I'm not too sure about however because they seem to be a bit off. Can't conclude that they're bad though since I've been measuring capacitance with a Uni-t ut61e and not a proper LCR meter.

Great kit! Excatly what I was looking for!
Awesome set of the essential electrical components for Makers! Excellent value! All parts accounted for, nothing missing (as far as I can tell). The product page didn't include any details on the IC "grab bag", so here is a a pic my parts list which DOES list the included IC's

A Must Have for Experimentors
For those of us tinkering with electronics experiments in the garage there is nothing more frustrating than needing that one little part and not having it and then having to wait a couple of days for it to be delivered. That’s not a problem with this assortment. Just about everything I have ever needed and a lot of things I didn’t realize I needed come included. This assortment is one stop electronics shopping at its best.
