OCTOMASK - Frameless Dive Mask w/Mount for All GoPro Hero Cameras for Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Freediving

Fogging: Fogged constantly in my dives, cleaned with products, then with toothbrush, then saliva, finally burned it and still fogged, thank god i took an extra mask and could changed it underwater.Leaks: It always leaked a bit no matter what i do, that's no problem for me, except, like in this case, you cannot fully blow out the water, mask's nose cavity and it's ergonomics makes it almost impossible to blow out all the water leaked. Its a bumer since that i was constantly taking it so i could rubb my finger to defogg it, and then had always some water the nose.The Fit: It did a bit of pressure on my nasal bone, tried to equalise it but since it was always filled with water it was not a good idea.GoPro Mount: it worked great, fixed it and did not move.My opinion: It's a good mask for snorkeling, where you can stop, defogg it, fit it, and move on. But definetly not good for a 45-60min dive underwater, you will not enjoy de dive if its constantly fogging, or if you get water in your nose.p.s.: Im giving a last chance in my next 60 feet dive. Will see.

Really wanted to like this mask. It felt and looked to be fairly high-quality. The mount looked very secure, and it held my GoPro just fine out of the water.Unfortunately, things didn't quite work out under water. The silicon skirt on this mask is very, very soft. I have four masks, and this one was suspiciously soft from the moment I tried it on. I really wanted to believe that it was some super fancy, super-easy-on-the-skin material that would conform and hold its own. Nope, it's really just bad silicone for the purpose. Leaks everywhere from the very first dive. Further, because the skirt is so soft, the metal frame was pressing quite oppressively into my face before I even hit 20 feet or so. Maybe it'll do the job for snorkeling, but it wouldn't hold up to even moderate pressure at depth.That said, every face is different, so take my review with a grain of salt. I'm sure it works perfectly for somebody out there.Side note (which didn't affect my rating): Mine smelled VERY strongly of some kind of perfume/soap? My girlfriend insisted it was some kind of manufacturing chemical, but I'm pretty certain it was some type of cleaning fragrance. Either way, it made me nauseous. Either Amazon sent me a VERY clearly used item or the manufacturing standards need to be revisited.

I bought two of these masks over the last two years. I had no issues with functionality on the first one, but unfortunately a buddy knocked it overboard. The glass on the second one shattered within the 2nd use. Talk about an unpleasant surprise. For the price it is not worth the risk. It's unfortunate because the integrated GoPro mount is a great feature. I ignored the other reviews of this happening, but turns out it is true.

These goggles worked very well. I used them three times and did not have any problems in the water. However, I had them in my bag with my flippers and snorkel and when I set the bag down on the floor the glass shattered. It doesn't look like the glass can just be replaced, but I haven't looked into it yet.Other people had mentioned that it is hard to get the go-pro to stay tight with the screw. I found that if the camera is tilted back, then the screw tightened, then tilt the camera back forward, it makes the screw tight...

While the mask itself functions well, I am disappointed by the product's quality.Given as a gift, I learned today that after only 3 recreational uses with proper care (fresh water rinsing, dry storage, etc.) the black finish is already coming off. For a mask at this price point, I find this unacceptable.

I absolutely LOVE this mask! I have been a diver for 9 years now and love making videos with my GoPro.The aluminum screw in is amazing quality and the mask feels super sturdy. This is great for free-diving or spear fishing so you can free up your hands. I have gotten cheaper versions of this mask in the past and I could feel the lack of quality and hold they had compared to the OCTOMASK. Highly recommend getting quality over cheapness.The Mask part itself is perfectly form fitting to my face. I've had problems with masks in the past where they jam on my nose and I accumulate pressure that I constantly have to release while diving. I don't face this problem with this mask as it fits perfectly to my face and provides an excellent field of vision. Remember to clean ur mask with toothpaste when you first get it :) Thanks again guys! LOVED it!

I bought this mask for the sole purpose as I am sure many have for the built in GoPro attachment. While the masked worked really well for that it just didn't fit right on my head. I used it for a diving trip to Maui and it attached to the mask easily and felt very secure. The videos came out great with my GoPro Hero 7 black. The mask did not leak on my just felt really right to the face. All in all a great mask just left me with some discomfort after the dive.

I bought this (of course ^^) for the GoPro Hero as a diving mask for the holiday.It does fit without any discomfort. I've been using it until now for snorkeling, I will use it later this holiday for real ScubaDiving,but there won't be presumably any difficulties.I've been using before a Hand wrist, with which you have all the compensation movements on the film and I had to delete nearly half of the film because you got seasick by viewing it :$Now the Movements don't matter anymore, the View is stable all the time and i'm filming naturally in the direction I'm viewing.The Quality of the mask is giving no occasion for a complaint, so I'm satisfied with my purchase and can recommend it.

1st. The thread on the locking screw which holds the camera to the mask is to Long does not tighten so the gopro drops.2nd. The mask is no good at depth when diving it hurts your head around your Forhead. So glad i took spare with me3rd. Had to use different screw to hold gopro in place. P.S. Not worth £100 found the cresi gopro mask beter option at £34. I Still would not buy if it was £20 not a good design in my opinion.

Nothing wrong with the actual mask (apart from being ridiculously expensive for what it is) but it is so low volume it pressed against my head and was unwearable. Would probably be fine for anyone without a huge brow like me.

Great product, good visibility, good wide angle too, comfortable and durable.Not good with go pro bouyancy pad on the backdoor of camera.

Mask didn't leak(But that is down to individual face shape, so it may leak on your face) Gopro mount is secure. Why the high price? There is NO need to double the price of a mask just because it's got a tiny pice of plastic added to it! Come on competition, bring out something that does the same, but not at such a high premium

Good quality facemask and Go Pro attachment works perfectly. Used it for four dives off Tionan Island in August.
