Scalpel Graduated Handle No. 3 Dental Surgical Stainless Steel Instruments

A real solid stainless steel handle for durability, finish good enough for a hobbyist, and holds blades firmly. Only complaint was the long shipping/transit time - at least I wasn't in urgent need of it when I ordered. A much better purchase than the more expensive yet far more fragile Swann Morton handle which is made of pressed or cast material and broke upon first drop.

Pressure sterilized this. Residual moisture rusted it.

A positive grasp on a dangerous tool. Love the weight and heft of this scalpel. I use it for hobby airplane building, easy blade changing.

This is a great value for the money. Blades fit the handle nicely.

Not a top of the line or piece of pro kit but definitely works. Great low cost item. The blade takes a little "finessing" to get it to seat. I think I may have lucked out because the quality of manufacturing seems a bit iffy. Next time I will absolutely spend more and get a higher grade.
