Design Works Crafts Blue Roses 12" x 12" Needlepoint Kit, Multicolor

I personally did not use the yarn that came with the kit. It didn't have anything to do with the reviews about not enough thread in the kit. I preferred to use DMCPearl cotton. I selected colors comparable to those listed on the chart. It is turning out so nicely. The size mesh is just right for the thickness of pearl cotton. So I'm just reviewing on the painted canvas and it really is beautiful, especially if you love blues. I'd certainly recommend the canvas. The flowers are lovely. Nice quality.

Loved the design but.... There isn't enough yarn to complete this kit. The yarn is cheap and snags on the canvas and your fingernails. The canvas is printed crooked. I won't purchase from this brand again.

My sis lived as a gift!

I got this on a special low price. And still feels like I spent to much for what I got . Not enough yarn hard to tell what yarn colors to use . Canvas was very bad quality.

Beautiful, but the colours printed on the mesh are difficult to discern in some places — too close together in terms of shade and hue in places — might have been better to use indicative colours on the print rather than the actual colour of yarn required. As with other similar products, not all of the yarn is the same thickness, so some creative work is necessary to keep it from appearing patchy. I simply solve the problem by using some of the yarn from my stash to supplement — doesn’t look exactly like the pattern, but it doesn’t need to!
