Surprisingly affordable sapphire face watch
This is the 1st watch I've ever had with a sapphire face and am very pleased. I was familiar with how durable and scratch resistant sapphire is because of my work with camera lenses in sewer inspection cameras. (which for obvious reasons need to be as durable as possible) I was always aware high-end watches like Rolexes used sapphire but I'm too cheap to buy one of those and I'm much to rough on my watches to feel right about wearing something that expensive on my arm even if it was given to me. After 8 months of use it still doesn't have any scratches on it. Admittedly, if I'm doing something like cutting down trees, working on a vehicle, etc., etc., I wear an old watch but even so my modus operandi involves accidentally hitting my watch on walls, shelves, door facings, and so forth. I'm left-handed and wear my watch on my left arm because I got tired of explaining to people years ago why my watch was on the wrong hand so I just switched it. As a result of wearing watches on my dominant hand they get abused. The titanium case is nice too. I like the looks of the case and the watch is definitely the lightest metal band watch I've ever worn.I bought the watch shortly before Christmas when it was on a good sale but even at the list price it's reasonable for a quality watch.

Great large face for my aging eyes
Great looking watch. Keeps good time so far. This is my 3rd titanium citizen watch. My first, 27 year old one, finally broke and it would cost just as much to fix it as it is to buy a new one(when on sale) so this is the replacement for that one. Here’s hoping it lasts as long as the last one. Like the larger face since my eyes are not what they used to be, unfortunately the date window is still little small.

Great Watch
Looks great and no issues with keeping time or solar power. I wanted an alternative to wearing a smart watch everyday. This fits the bill.

Light weight
Nice watch. Returned because I couldn’t see the extremely small date.

Great looking watch.
Watch looks and feels great on the wrist. Lightweight compared to some of my other watches. Love the blue face and titanium band, very comfortable.

A Great Disappointment - Poor Quality
This is a beautiful watch with a titanium case and sapphire crystal for less than $250, depending on the discount Amazon is offering at the time. That should be steal, unfortunately you usually get what you pay for. The overall design is elegant, simple and in good taste, perfect as an everyday watch that can also be worn in dressy situations. It also has Citizen's Eco-Drive movement which I know from personal experience is accurate and should last approx. 20 years without a battery change.Unfortunately, the overall quality may not be out of line for what I paid for it. (1) The hands don't line up with the markers on the dial, in fact they were almost exactly in the middle of the space between the marks. I believe this is fixable, but a buyer shouldn't have to deal with that. (2) The bracelet is poorly designed and of bad quality. The gaps between the segments are too large, especially if one has a narrow wrist which causes the gap between the first and second segments to be especially large. The bracelet just feels loose. Other reviewers have complained of pins dropping out and the clasp being of poor quality. I'll add that the titanium is discolored in the visible gaps between segments. (3) This is a big watch - 41.5 mm diameter measured diagonally, and 43 mm measured horizontally across the crown. That shouldn't necessarily be a problem - this watch is smaller than most G-Shocks, including my own, but the bracelet is huge and may not be sizeable down enough to accommodate smaller wrists like my 6.5" wrist. For these reasons I returned it. I am a fan of Citizen products and love their Eco-Drive. In fact, I don't wear mechanical watches anymore. Too much bother. I have no idea what Citizen was thinking when they designed the Paradigm.
