I ordered this cast shower bag ahead of planned surgery on my hand on the 3rd Jan 19 which I knew would leave me in a large cast with my thumb stuck out.I did find myself in such a cast. Due to the size of the opening in the rigid plastic ring entry to the bag I was able to get my cast through it. However, due to the fact that I couldn't use my hand that had been operated on I could not have stretched the seal to enlarge the opening. This was only managed by me using my good hand and my wife using both of hers on the opposite to me. Once my hand was fully inserted into the bag the seal went around my bicep which is what I wanted. I am 6' 4" tall and have quite long arms. The bag is made of quite thick plastic so limited use of that hand while showering. All I can say is that I have showered in a power shower every day since the operation and not one drop of water has got past the seal. I am more than happy with this product and am happy to recommend it if you need to protect a cast or injury.

This is a well made product that assisted in covering a cast and aiding in keeping it waterproof. Whilst I appreciate there needs to be plenty of room and flexibility, I think it would have fitted more comfortably it there had been a little less spare material

Really useful for anyone breaking their arm however I had an operation and placed this product on to my arm. The top bit is quite tight. But I was bruised. So maybe that was why it hurt. So much.Perfect for broken arms as the tight bit would be on the plaster. Not directly on arm. Or my arms ( tops) are fatter than most maybe.

Bought this for my sister after she broke her arm in an accident. She thought it was great as it allowed her to have a proper shower and bath while keeping her cast dry.

The information for this item was given to us by the hospital in a leaflet, decided to get one, what great item, my husband was able to have a shower the first time in over a week, Such a simple thing but perfect no water got through to the plaster.Would recommend it to any one with a broken arm.

Works perfectly, no moisture gets past this. Seal is tight around arm, I guess it has to be but because of this, I wouldn’t want to wear for longer than a quick shower.

When you get your arm in it is comfortable and does not allow water to get through i had a shower and being disabled it tskes longer. Would highly recommend.
