Yes! Unironically, yes. These headphones have the widest sound stage and detail retrieval of any close back headphone. This quite literally and unironically makes them the best gaming headphones ever made.

Q: Is this really closed back headphone? If I put on no one can hear what I am listening?

I tried them and you can still hear them like open backed headphone. I sent them back and bought the 800S instead which sound just as good for a lot less

Most audiophile reviewers say these headphones go best with classical, Jazz and electronic music. I personal use them for everything and they sound fantastic. You'll need a good amp to power them, but even on high volumes there is minimal noise leakage. Depending on the seal around your head/face, the noise can be heard outside. Although I've never heard a complaint that it was too loud for a person in the same room. Most time they never heard anything, but I don't play music loud.
