If you’re thinking about buying these, do yourself a favor and don’t. After researching gaming headsets for a little over a month, I’ve realized there isn’t a SINGLE company that puts out a decent product, and Logitech/Astro is no exception. Most gaming headsets have countless negative reviews, and you will not find one where people can confidently say, “This is a great headset or no issues and great value for $300.” I finally settled on the A30s because every headset I looked at had complaints, so I figured I’d just have to pick one and hope for the best. I assumed people might just be overly critical, but I was wrong. These A30s are actual junk… First off, I’m already experiencing major issue not even a week in. The USB transmitter constantly loses connection. I specifically bought these for Xbox (as advertised on the box), but it randomly detects itself as being connected to PlayStation or PC. This is despite the USB being directly plugged into my Xbox, which shows how bad the hardware is. Another annoyance is that, to use the headset wirelessly with the mixer/controller for volume and channels, you need to connect it to your phone via Bluetooth. This is ridiculous. If you set the headset down and walk away, you have to remember to disconnect it from your phone. There’s nothing better than getting a phone call blasting in your ear while gaming…. On top of that, I’ve experienced the common issue where these things just won’t turn off. Holding the power button does nothing. To turn them off, you have to unplug the USB transmitter, reconnect it three or four times, and then re-pair them, just to power them off. If you plan on using these wired, don’t bother. The audio quality is terrible, and the 3.5mm cable it comes with seems faulty (which maybe why the audio is so bad wired) I constantly have to twist the cable to get the audio to come through correctly. You’d think $300 would get you a solid pair of gaming headphones, but you’d be wrong. Do yourself a favor and avoid these. They’re nothing but problems. I’d probably go with the Steel Series Novas if I could go back in time..

Absolutely perfect this time! First time around I ordered an Xbox headset and they sent me the PlayStation version. But they were quick to refund the money and I reordered and this time around I got exactly what I ordered. It says it's used but it looks practically brand new to me! Well worth the money!!

Audio quality is great and the mic works well. Connects to my Mobile, Xbox and PC. Sometimes it can get confused with phone calls coming in while connecting to more than one other device. you may have to power it off and on to fix it . On Xbox it works amazing . On Pc it uses a Windows - generic usb audio driver. At first I Couldn’t get spatial Audio to work on windows 10 so then I upgraded to 11 and it’s available. The PC recognizes it as (game speakers) and (voice headset) . This looks to be wrong because my A50’s game and voice are both classified as (headsets) . Waiting on a new independent driver from Astro so the lighting usb dongle connection is recognized properly . I guess it’s new so not everything is worked out yet. I still have it working ok. I would like a mic boost too it seems to be quiet in Xbox game bar for pc . But like I said no problems on Xbox just some pc kinks I think they need to address . They need an independent driver for the lighting dongle and this would probably resolve everything on pc . I did reach out to Astro to let them know. Also if it every freezes and won’t power down I found holding the power and Bluetooth to enter dongle pairing mode then it can be powered down .I’m sure it will also be addressed in an update to the firmware.

It's got extremely good audio but the mic quality isn't good at all you sound like you're speaking from the bottom of a Pringles can while under water but it comfortable on your head you can wear it on your head for hours without out any discomfort.

Sound quality is good , never tried the mic , comfortable , issue is if connected to your phone and you receive a call it will lower volume and u cant bring it back up except if you go on the app and get it put it back up ! (really annoying while you are playing , even if call ended it will stay low!)
