A well made, cost effective hit!
This is a great money saver for those of us using iso-butane cans for backpacking stoves and lanterns. I can find cans of butane fuel on sale for $1.50-$2 on a regular basis. That is about 1/3 of the cost of a can on iso-butane fuel. The adapter will pay for itself with fuel savings in short order. Now, straight butane will not work as well under all conditions. This is not the best fuel for winter camping (of course, neither is iso-butane, but this is even worse). Also, the adapter is on the heavy side, so ulta-light backpackers will probably take a pass on this. For everyone else, this a well made solid adapter that I would strongly recommend.

Good quality for the price
This works as advertised and was higher quality than expected. Like all of these butane adaptors, make sure the metal part is loosened, then attach to the can lining up the tab, and tighten the metal part and it will lock in place. I have another one which was "Zed" brand, made in Korea, and was more expensive. I think it's identical to the G Works adapter and was more than twice as expensive as this one. The Zed and G Works use a different locking mechanism which may be more durable, but time will tell. The Zed was 40grams, this one is 50 and is a bit larger. The Zed got warmer operating a lantern on top. I used this with a lantern full blast for a while and no issues. A great price for a well made product to use cheap butane. For what it's worth I have a dozen camp stoves and lanterns using every type of fuel, from antique to modern. I am a camp stove collector.

I like it, simply the best
I like it, simply the best. but it requires a brief description. when i tried to connect butane gas can, I didn't know that how to locked. ..To illustrate,..After fitting the product to the frame, turn the metal part of the head slightly and lock it. ha ha

Well constructed and easy to use
Now I can use my camping equipment with much less expensive butane. Butane cans can be found at most Asian grocery stores for less than $2 a can. Much better than expensive isobutane at 3x the price as long as your using in weather above 40 degrees. Colder weather demands the expensive camping gas unfortunately.

Works fine for me
I just bought a new camp stove that runs on all sorts of fuel types. This adapter pretty much adds the final piece to allow another type of canister that holds butane.I tested and it works very well with the bottles of butane I bought. Standing up or putting the bottle on its side, no difference and no leaks.

It looks like a solidly built piece
Delivery was on time. The piece is a solid machined aluminum block with a plastic excentric to jam it on a butane bottle. I used it on a summer trip in Colorado, so above the freezing all the time, that's why cheaper butane bottles made sense. No troubles, no leaks. Hope it lasts.I have a stove with a remote canister, so can use gas cans of any shape.

... are more expensive ones but there not really any better for the cost
5 Stars because for the price they are built well and no leaks from the two I purchased and yes there are more expensive ones but there not really any better for the cost. Buy with confidence and delivery was fast as well;)

Worked good!
I had heard mixed reviews of this kind of converter, but this one performed perfectly on my recent motocamping trip. A good buy, especially since the flat butane cans are more expensive and not always available..
