So this kit is not beginner friendly. No instructions. The "punch tool" is cheaply made and the yarn frays just from touching it. The punch tool leaves gaping holes in the fabric. So...because I like the picture and the vibrant colors, I am just going to embroider it the old fashioned way.

Just started the strawberry basket. Already not enough yarn. The tools that came with are low quality, the scissors don’t even cut the yarn which is also falling apart.

Love doing this. It’s a new easy task and it’s relaxing. The instructions are not super clear but YouTube cleared up some things for me. I don’t know if it would be great for kids the poker does hurt if you stab yourself.

Poor quality materials. Hoop couldn't open, screw head was stripped. Yarn wasn't correct size for punch needle. Yarn was did not match coloring as shown. Cloth was not the same material as described.

This was difficult for an adult. It would be frustrating for a tween. There needs to be more specific directions, like what do you do in multiple small spaces. Do you keep cutting your piece and starting again? Plus, hints needed so loops stay put. Nice end product, but not my favorite to do.
