By far the best gear manufacturer I've ever purchased from
MHM makes some of the best packs I've ever owned. I ended up swapping this one out for the Salute 34 just cause I wanted something a bit smaller. Small company of local outdoorsman that seriously know how to make a kickass pack. These guys pretty much decided they were sick of not having a perfect pack so they made them, props to them, they managed to do it. Very innovative and excellent quality, they also offer a kickass warranty and generous military discounts. You can expect these packs to last you a couple decades of fair use and still be going strong. My only complaint is the pockets on the hip belt won't fit a larger phone very well, especially their smaller packs. This pack just barely managed to fit my Samsung Galaxy S5, there's no way you're getting anything bigger like an LG G4 or iPhone 6+ in it, anything smaller is just fine though. This isn't a big problem at all but with the average phone size increasing MHM should consider this in future versions of the pack. Oh yeah, make more color options guys! I know you're a small team and are probably placing minimum factory orders but a larger selection will bring in more potential buyers. I know I'd buy another pack or two from you if you'd get some color schemes going, I'd love to see crimson red.

Extremely well thought out backpack.
One of the best backpacks I have ever owned and I've owned plenty! Extremely well thought out. It's a bit heavy for its size, but you'll never notice the extra weight. It sits so well and adjusts so well you sometimes don't even notice the backpack on you.Honestly best backpack company ever. I've owned CLA, Osprey, Black Diamond, Mystery Ranch, Mammut, and Mountain Hardwear backpacks. This is the best out of all of them. I cannot wait until I save up the money to get their 55L Divide. You will not regret spending a little extra for this backpack!

Great technical and aesthetically pleasing rucsac
This is a stunning pack, both aesthetically and technically. The quality of materials was exceptional. The access to the pack is really convenient. The hip belt was padded and supportive.Overall: a great ruc for multi day hiking/ trekking. My only misgiving - it wasn’t the pack I ordered! That was cleared up quickly and efficiently by Amazon.

Sweet pack!
This is a great pack, with everything you need and some things you didn't even know you needed. The front zip is very convienent for getting things out of the bottom. It is also extremely comfortable.

Schooled on awesome gear and an awesome company
UPDATED:FIRST REVIEW 2 stars - Bought this pack to support the hometown company. Its a great pack, but a bit small on me and one of the fasteners is not working correctly. I contacted customer service via phone and by their website (many reviews have said how these guys are very helpful and accessible.) I have had no such experience. I am leaving for a trip soon and need the pack to be right, so I think I'll have to head back to REI for the 'ol much more boring go-to stuff with a better return policy. I really wish that this was not the case, as this pack has huge potential, a very good fit and a sentimental value for being sourced from Denver.UPDATE- 5+ stars (A happy ending) - Maybe some tech issues were to blame, but the gents at MHM have reached out to me with admirable form and professionalism. I have learned a lesson about how awesome small business is and how valuable it is as a consumer to be able to feel that things you buy and use so extensively have a real human element to them.Even while in Asia on biz, Jeff (founder) wrote me back ensuring that they will handle any problems I have with the pack; even invited me to their HQ to make sure it gets right. That's how it's done. And no I am not affiliated with their company in any way.[...] (Check it out and see what outdoor equipment innovation looks like)

Alaska tested.....and passed!
Just bought this pack for field work in remote Alaska/Yukon Territory. Held up really well. Added a rain cover for the typical rainy days. Was able to carry all the gear I needed (in case the helicopter didn't pick me up at the end of the day). The full side-zip is huge and makes it easy to access gear from top to bottom. Took a bit to get shoulder straps dialed in (especially with 50-100 lbs in pack). Ventilation system worked really well, though it does change the center of gravity a bit. Hip straps are great; pivot and customization are best attributes. Hydration compatibility worked fine. Overall, I really liked the pockets/gear management of this pack. Still hope to get it more comfortable on the shoulder straps (padding seems to hit in a funny place).I really like the pack.
