Barbie Basics Model 04 Collector Doll with Red Curly Hair, Black Mini Dress & Boots, Universal-fit Fashions, Posable Petite Body & Swappable Doll Head

Adorable doll, well articulated, and moves easily. I use with 1/6 scale dioramas and these dolls work well with all their possible positioning. They seem pretty durable but I’m not sure what age to recommend for them. They may not be suitable for younger children. I think the dolls could break easier than the standard Barbie and the heads on this series do come off. They are made to be able to swap heads with other ones in the series. The price point on this series seems accurate to me.

The red hair, freckles, made to move articulation x I have a major soft spot for redheads, and she’s a beautiful addition to my dollhouse. I am a picky collector and like to keep my collection small, she was a must have for me.

She’s cute and well articulated. The quality of this basics dolls is nice, and I feel like the $25 cost was worth it. I don’t like that she’s petite and not regular size, but the articulation makes her worth it. I’ve removed her head, and the design makes her more durable.

This petite, fully articulated Barbie is stunning! Her fiery red hair is soft and lovely. She has just a sprinkle of freckles scattered over her nose and cheeks. The dress and sandals are very nice. However, the dress is glued down across the chest. I haven't tried to remove it yet, so I can't comment on how difficult it may be to remove any adhesive residue. The earrings are removable, but it's difficult to remove them without causing damage to them. There is also a nice stand included. My only issue is that she arrived in a thin, unpadded brown envelope that was torn open from top to bottom. Her box was sticking out, causing damage. As a collector, box condition is extremely important. This item should have been sent with more care. I don't understand how an $8.00 Barbie will arrive in a box with padding, in pristine condition, yet a $25.00 collector's edition is carelessly thrown in a paper envelope. That's unacceptable. Fortunately, there was no damage to the beautiful doll.

The doll was just as pretty as the photo. She is a little smaller in stature (feet too) than a standard Barbie but is fully poseable. Love that it comes with a stand. Great price. Nice to see a more natural looking redhead from Mattel.

Just beautiful. Of the Basics released this year I think this is the most beautiful overall. Love the hair!Great value and just the perfect size.

A sweet, pretty doll. Fully articulated, beautiful Kayla/Lea face sculpt and I love her skin tone and makeup. She has a petite Made-to-Move body, wears a long black dress that feels like a stretchy polyester and black open-toed clunky heels. I love that she has red hair and freckles. The dress is rather ugly, sadly....it's too big and bulky for the bottom half of this size/shape doll. The printing on her eyes is wonky, but I'll keep her because it's not her fault.
