After exploring NUMEROUS methods to eliminate the stink from my 20 yr old, (but lovely) Birkenstock Gizeh sandals ( I have multiple colors), these charcoal bags have worked the BEST. I've sprayed things, done the baking soda scrub, blah blah blah. Now I can walk into my walk-in closet and breathe easy. Well made items and great price. Great Job!

We got these to try because my son’s soccer cleats smelled terribly. It was so bad we were throwing cleats away before he outgrew them. It was terrible, he left his cleats in my truck one night, and when I got in to drive to work I gagged. The stench was overwhelming our entire garage, it was permeating his soccer clothes if they were in the same bag as the cleats. We were desperate. Sprays weren’t working, we tried washing them, it just made our laundry room smell. We tried inserts, powder, the little odor absorbing balls, nothing could overcome the foulness that my son’s foot presented. Until we bought these. I’ve been waiting to review because I thought his foot would overcome the inserts, but after 4 months, BMBU has proven to be a formidable foe. We don’t gag when he takes his cleats off in the car after practice. I don’t smell his foot on my clothes if my work shirt happens to get washed with his soccer socks. This is quite possibly the best odor destroying product around. The only complaint we’ve had is from our dog, he really loved those stinky soccer socks. They have beaten our young soccer players foot, even when we thought no product was strong enough. My nose, my wife’s nose, my sons soccer bag, his teammates, our cars, thank you BMBU.

Great product helps the smell with my husbands work boots, fits well in all shoe sizes.

These work perfectly. I have a bunch of shoes I wear to play various sports and they sit in my office. I used a couple of these in and around my shoes and just left them there over night and kind of forgot about them. Next day I noticed the shoe smell was gone completely.

I had purchased a cute 10 drawer dresser from Amazon to store our shoes in instead of in a pile on the floor of the entrance to our condo. After about a day or two, my husband and daughter stated that they noticed a faint smell of worn shoes. I immediately started looking for solutions as I really liked the dresser and not having shoes on the floor. I came across these and placed an order. The Fam noticed the difference immediately after a day of inserting a deodorizer into each shoe.To see how well they worked, I actually sniffed some of the shoes and lo and behold, they smell just fine. So now when shoes come off, this go straight into them to combat the odor. Full disclosure, in addition to having them in the shoes in each drawer, I also got a larger bamboo deodorizer to place into each drawer as well.

Did not find these effective. Pegasus because tried using them in shoes that already had a strong odor.

These are great. They absorb the smell without covering up the smell with some temporary fragrance. Easy to use just drop right in the shoe and forget! Will order more when needed. I’ bought them in Nov and between my husband and I they have lasted so far! Worth every penny!
