The first thing I did when this case got here was run to my bedroom and plug it in to see if it let's you fast charge while on......and it does. Finally. I've had at least three battery cases and usually I have to charge the case and phone separately because sometimes the phone would be charging so slowly it wouldn't charge fully over 6 or 7 hours. If this keeps up I won't change anything, but if it stops working or anything I'll update my review.PS- I forgot to mention this thing is super slim compared to my previous charge case (power bear brand). I dont know if its actually 5000 mah, because if it is its amazing they got that big of a battery into this case.The only negative I have to say at this time is that my previous case had a speaker grill that made the sound fire towards me, and this one just has a cutout so the sound stays firing out of the bottom of the phone. I liked the sound coming towards me a lot more, but it's not a huge deal.Edit(December 3rd): case still charges and everything just fine. The only gripe is that it doesn't protect very well. I've cracked my screen twice using this thing.Another edit: changing my review to 3 stars. It worked fine for a few months, but now all day long I kept feeling my phone vibrating in my pocket, but I wasn't getting any alerts on my smartwatch....it was vibrating because the battery case keeps turning itself off and on all day long. Super annoying and drains the battery pack because it just keeps charging even after 100%. Very disappointed.

This is not a 5000mah capacity battery. It roughly 2000mah as best I can tell. It just charged my phone 70% and is empty. The size and quality are good but the capacity is clearly wrong.

This case is good. Really good. I know it says 5000 extra, but it is more like 3000. It charged half my battery and lost half of it's juice. However, it is thin, pretty and effective. It is good to help you use your phone all day heavily without charging at all. I will update for more info later. Lastly, it is slim guys. Like not much bigger or heavier than my s8+. So I don't mind not being truly 5000.

Pro:case is not too bulky and looks decent.Cons:My headphones don't fit through the opening for headphone jack.The case doesn't always charge - I think you have to turn it on for it to charge but hit or miss - the instructions are not clear on how the case charges. I've left the case+phone for charging overnight on several occasions but it will not always charge.

The negative is the user instructions poorly translated. Once you get past this hurdle the product is great as it can double the time between needing to be charged. It also is an attractive case to protect the phone without being too bulky though maybe a bit weighty.

First impression is positive, but the unit I received does not support fast charging as posted in another review. Buttons are not raised, so somewhat hard to find. Definitely need a headphone adapter if you use a wired headphone. Sound comes through case just fine. Very thin. Seems to be a good value for the money. Long term battery performance has not yet been tested.

This is the worse external cellphone charger I've ever had. Doesn't fully charge and gives you barely a half hour on charge
