I purchased the combo pack.Excellent reference book over and NCERT text. Explanation and related photographs ,diagrams and questions given that children can understand and enjoy the subject rather than by heart the topic without understanding. Highly recommended though I personally feel it should be handled by a parent or a teacher so that the child doesn't get overwhelmed by the vastness of the subject

S.Chand Science reference book is perfect for class 10.. There is detailed explanation of each concept and the diagrams are labled so it is easy to understand. According to me it's the best reference book for class 10 science CBSE board.
