I've only had them on it for a few days. I'm currently feeding 3 lactating queens and one pregnant queen. They have improved in their eating. Are making lots of milk. The media could not be loaded. I like that this product is made in America in a GMP certified facility. The product arrived with a good seal inside under the lid but without any plastic sealing on the outside of the canister, which I found a little different. I love the idea behind this product and its goals, and think it is a pretty okay product but not exemplary.This products contains a nice lineup of many vitamins and minerals and at great doses. It's main ingredient, however, is chicken meal. While that can be a fine addition, especially for dogs and because it's often higher in protein - it's still a questionable and iffy and often sketchy ingredient.The product is very easy to incorporate into a dog's diet. My elderly Rottweiler will drink the powder mixed with water, though most pet parents would traditionally use it as a food topper. This works well for me though because my dog won't drink plain water without bribes in it. I suspect most dogs would like the flavor of this product. Not a terrible product by any means and I am happy to have it for my dog especially as a "just in case" item, but overall it's not exceptional due to lesser quality ingredients.

Not sure what it really taste like, but my cats loved it, and after about two weeks of using it twice a day, I definitely could see a difference in my cats weight. Unfortunately, cats are very moody and differ from cat to cat so there’s definitely no guarantee that every cat will love it every time. Worked great for mine though.

Beware, if your dog doesn't like this product which my older dog took one sniff and walked away on many occasions, you can't return it. That note was probably in the fine print which I didn't see. I didn't know whether it was the product or the food but my latest test proved my point with pizza crust, which my dog loves. He was gobbling up the small bites of just plain pizza crust and thought, "Gee, why not add some of this product for extra nutrition mixed in with a little olive oil as a topper, also something he loves?" He walked away on this attempt too after taking one sniff, which was the final blow for me that his nose is not liking it. My Vet when I said I was getting this product warned, "Well, it may just be Pixie Dust but it's worth a try." It might just be for fairies, but he didn't want to even try it. I was really disappointed that I couldn't get a little money back. It was a $30.00 dollar investment. Maybe you'll have better luck.

Love this product. I add it to food of sick or underweight foster kittens. It helps them gain weight much faster.

My picky cat with advanced stage nasal cancer has been losing weight despite everything. We've tried high-calorie prescription foods, appetite stimulants, canned tuna, and those high-calorie gels, but he's still losing weight. He's down to under 6 lbs and getting weaker every day. I was doubtful about this product but willing to give it a try. Because he has breathing problems, I was worried about him inhaling the powder, so I mix it with a lickable treat or broth. He loves it! We've only been using it a couple of days, so it's too soon to know if he's gaining weight. But as picky as he is, I'm just thrilled he'll eat it!

I have used this brand before, except in the paste form. I always go through the paste so fast, so decided to try the powder form instead. My elderly dog doesn’t seem to mind the powder on the food, but I also have to add pumpkin powder or she has runny stools. I am using it because she really doesn’t eater enough food to keep weight on no matter how much food I give her or how often I give her. I haven’t noticed a difference in added weight yet, but hoping to as it seems to be making her eat more of her food instead of leaving it sit so it must be tasty. It is easy to use and comes with a scoop. The smell is not off putting and has the extra nutrients I was looking for to supplement her food. The only thing I don’t like is that some of it sticks to the bottom of her food dish and I have to soak and scrub her dish after she eats. However, the paste is rather messy and she gets it all over face hair, so I think I prefer this better.

I got Under the Weather Ready Cal for Cats for my picky senior cat, and it has been a lifesaver! The formula is easy to administer, and my cat actually seems to like the taste. It provides a great energy boost and helps maintain her appetite when she’s not feeling her best.
