Good mirrors with a design flaw
I bought these mirrors for my 2018 Indian Scout Bobber (after I swapped out the handlebars for reduced reach bars). The mirrors seem very sturdy and well-designed. Easy to install. I was prepared to love them. There was just one problem: the support column on the left side mirror interfered with the operation of the clutch lever. No bueno. Had to send them back.

This is the best bar end mirror I have ever seen!
I was a bit concerned when the antique BMW bar end mirror on my Vincent Black Shadow finally broke. I looked for a replacement and I wasn't able to fine anything that I liked as well as that BMW Touring mirror. I tried to replace it with four different bar end mirrors and none of them worked to my satisfaction.Initially, I hesitated to try the Napoleon mirror because it seemed a bit out of scale for the front end of my Shadow, but after my dissatisfaction with the other mirrors I tried, I thought why not. What have I got to lose? (Ok, the scale issue is the ONLY bad thing I can say about this product and it is only in reference to my stylistic preference, not a comment on the mirror itself.)When the mirror arrived, I was extremely impressed with the fit and finish. This is obviously a quality product. Mounting it was straightforward and it is the most stable, configurable bar end mirror I have ever seen. The very clever yet very simple rubber expansion joint holds the the mirror securely, but at the same time, it acts as a vibration dampener. I have never been able to use a mirror on this bike while accelerating until now.I really couldn't be happier with this product. I have even begun to think that it looks all right on the bike. I am getting used to the look, but as far as build quality and performance, I would give this my highest recommendation.

Great mirrors after a bit of machine work on the handlebar ends.
I bought these to replace the factory stalk mirrors on my Yamaha FZ-09 that are simply useless. The Napoleon's are very well made mirrors. Sold die cast metal with a medium gloss black paint.. Turns out my bars have threaded ends to receive the threaded bar ends so I could not use theNapoleon mirror's included expanding rubber inserts. Hummmm what to do.... The bar ends use an 8mm hex key. The mirrors come with 8mm mounting bolts. perfect! I can drill into the bar ends for threaded mounting holes down the middle of the bar ends to receive the mirror bolts!! A trip to the local hardware store for a fresh Irwin 8mm x 1.25 tap and drill set, (that's the bolt that comes with the mirror's to do the rubber expander.) Clamp the bar end carefully and perfectly vertically in the drill press vice. Kiss the bottom of the hex wrench hole with a 5/16 bit (just under 8mm) to establish a good center. Drill the Yamaha bar ends almost all the way through with the tap bit. Wash out and chips with carb cleaner. Re-install the Yamaha bar ends. Install the mirrors. stand back and smile !!!

they are pretty good. A little extra vibration compared to stock ...
Bought 2 of these to put onto my '14 Triumph Bonneville. Had to modify them to work with stock handlebars. This included locating and purchasing 2 extra bolts to enable them to screw into the existing stock handlebars and then had to cut a piece of rubber that fits inside the bars. Once in, they are pretty good. A little extra vibration compared to stock mirrors, but better view, looks better, and easily adjustable into multiple positions.

The best value in a quality bar-end mirror.
The classic bar-end mirror is the English "Stadium"; very similar to the Napoleon, and made with round or oblong heads. Those went out of production 25 years ago, but this mirror is a good replica. Oblong head only, but available in Chrome or black. The Napoleon's keyed rubber expansion sleeve is not as solid as the metal parts of the Stadium, but good enough, and the socket head mounting screw is neater. Napoleon is made in Japan, and the quality, particularly the optics (smoothly convex), is way better that those random China-made mirrors. This is not a "custom" part, but really functional; suitable for any classic or modern bike, and not an edgy, rat-bike, "yeah officer, I have a mirror" thing. The 8 mm mounting screw is the same size as on many bar-end weights, and I was able to mount these cleanly and securely on a Kawasaki Ninja 500 by drilling out the hole in the weight and filing a keyway. The mirror fits on using its original mounting screw, less the rubber sleeve. Remember to adjust the tension and tighten the setscrew before installing on any bike.If you do need a show-quality interpretation of the "Stadium", say for a vintage Brit-bike, Halcyon UK makes one out of stainless (the original had an aluminum frame) but it's more than twice the price of the Napoleon.

Great View and Great Looking
I've been using these mirrors on my Honda Hawk for over 20 years, and I love them. I just added them to my Suzuki Bandit 1200 as part of a naked conversion, and I love them on the Bandit as well. They provide a very good field of view, are very clear, and are almost completely free of buzz. They do, however, increase the bike's width by about eight inches.Although these mirrors are designed for tubular handlebars, they can be mounted to solid clip on handlebars as well, like I did with the Bandit. Mounting them to solid handlebars requires cutting off the aluminum extensions that would normally fit into the handlebars, drilling and tapping a hole into each end of the handlebars, and substituting a screw with more of the shank threaded. These mirrors can also be mounted to tubular handlebars the have threaded inserts. Web Bike World has a nice write up explaining how to do this if you are interested.

Only Mirrors I Use
I like them enough to use them on all my bikes. Mounted my 1st set of these on a '97 Bandit 1200 and they lasted 17 years and 85,000 mi until a crash with a deer totaled everything. Have sets on an '02 V-Strom, '03 SV1000, '07 Bandit 1250, and a '16 KTM Super Duke. That way I know where the mirrors are regardless of the bike I'm riding. Easy mounting in 1/2" ID aluminum bars - replace the rubber expander with rubber fuel hose, use a regular type nut and knock the corners down a bit. It will slide right in and tighten up.
