Carhartt womens Smithville Coverall

I volunteer with California Native Plant Society to clear invasive wild mustard on the cliffs of the state beaches at Malibu. It's rough work, and since the 2018 Woolsey fire swept to the sea, this is dirty work with ash still on the ground. I needed heavy duty but flexible overalls for winter (would be too hot for summer, spring and fall), for protection against the elements, the plants, and worse. These coveralls fit the bill, good heavy material, tons of pockets safe enough to crawl around on the ground and not drop my car key, plus loops to tote my clippers. I love the snaps at the wrist to keep the dirt and bugs away from my arms. Easy to get on and off, too. I only hope the black color does not make it impracticable for even he winter sun here in southern California. I would love to see it in khaki. thanks. - Kathy

Very high quality product. Fits me like a glove with clothes on underneath. Not the warmest product, so you need to wear warm clothing under it, but very protective and comfortable. You can do anything wearing it. I got the medium and I am tall and weigh from 125-140 depending on the time of year and how I am eating. I'm so glad I got it. I do heavy gardening and outside work until it gets cold in Vermont and can bundle up underneath and it is one of my favorite purchases. THANK YOU!!!!

I had to send it back due to it being much much much to big, but the quality of fabric and pattern was very nice. I look forward to buying another one when they get my size.

I had to hem the length. The snap up feature on the hem is useless (it drags between the snap loops) and impeded my ability to hem it easily. Besides that, it fit and was what I wanted as an overlayer to throw on for doing fall/ spring yard work. Should last forever. Good pockets.

I wasn't sure if I'd like these but I ordered them to try. I'm 5'4" and 140 lbs. I have shorter legs. These run very long and I will need to hem them. The material is a bit stiff, I hope they soften in the wash. I really wish they were prewashed like the cotton duck overall. If they do soften up they'll be perfect in the summer. The fit is nice.

I slip into these each morning to feed and exercise our dogs and goats. I wear a tshirt and leggings underneath. I’m warm and protected from muddy paws and hooves. The material is thick but not too thick to move comfortably. It was no match for sharp German shepherd puppy teeth. I can get in/ out easily unless I wear a sweater. Then, I need help getting my arms/shoulders loose.

Bought these for my bestie for Christmas for barn work. She and I are built very similar, thin and fit, but broad shouldered. SIZE UP. By no means would she wear an extra large in ANYTHING. But I'm glad I went with that size because she said they are a struggle to get up over your shoulders once your legs are in. Other than that GREAT PRODUCT!

I like this work jumper, but I misjudged the size chart and ordered it too big. I reorder one size smaller. Ordered XL should have ordered large.

Love this item so much! Finally a cover-all jumpsuit that fits, has all the pockets I could ever need, and has held up during some heavy-duty DIY around the house. Fabric is very durable, breathable, and the waist, wrists, and ankles all have adjustment snap buttons. Will definitely be ordering another one so I can have back-up (got too many paint splatters on this first one.. ughh).
