No cat activity in the first three weeks. Fingers crossed.
I am so pleased to have given these granules a try, as my vegetable patch was turned into my neighbourhood cat's toilet this time last year. I’m pretty sure that next door’s cat was selling tickets! The irony is that the active ingredient appears to be garlic. At the time, the veg patch had over 100 cloves of garlic happily growing following an autumn planting!In the three weeks since I spread the granules around, we’ve had a combination of some wet but mainly dry weather with a few light ground frosts. The granules have survived, and despite trying to only protect a small area, I’ve seen no sign of cat activity anywhere in the garden.The price is set fairly and offers good value, more so if it works.For the moment, four stars. This will be updated once we see what happens over the coming weeks.

Useless
Useless don't bother.At least with the old lemon recipe the cats stayed away for a week or so.With this new one, my neighbours cat walked on it, smelt it, then crouched down directly on top!Don't waste your money

That that effective...
It's not that effective, but to be fair on this product, I didn't know at the time what I was fighting, whether it be foxes, badgers or cats. And my problem was really bad (post not doing the garden over winter).It turns out that it was foxes, and another product (motion sensor noise device) solved that problem easily. This product on the other hand, appeared to be a waste of money for me personally. To add, this is an expensive way to protect your garden/lawn. The solar powered motion activated sound device is much more sustainable.But it may work for you, if it is cats you are trying to keep out of your garden and you problem isn't as bad as mine was (but no longer).
