its very good
Wasnt sure if to give 4 or 5 stars...but the keyboard is good. As someone else mentioned, while typing sometimes a key press is ignored because you do need to press firmly or relatively slowly. Another down side is that the track pad speed or sensitivity cant be adjusted and several times I have felt the need to alter it. But they are the down sides, the upside to this keyboard is that it is very well made, the folding is excellent and the size is perfect. I use it often. Its not as good as a normal keyboard but the portability is what I want and it is very functional. The best part about it is that you can connect it to 3 different devices without having the hassle of pairing each time you change device, you simply pair once for each device and when you connect yopu just press the button that corresponds to the device you want to connect to - this is an excellent feature which I havent seen before. There is a simple little stand for a phone which works well which could also support a tablet. Charging is easy and battery lasts well (it has never run out on me although I do charge all my devices once per week whether I use them or not - thats a good habit :) ) Genuinely impressed. Hopefully in the future this keyboard could have some track pad sensitivity adjustment added and make the keys able to be typed with quicker - but for a portable keyboard that folds away easily for work on a train / bus / car / coffee shop its a good buy.

Works extremely well!
I had an older Microsoft BT keyboard which conformed to an outdated standard, so it stopped working reliably. It also chewed through batteries like they were going out of fashion, and was a little bulky. So, I cast about for a mobile keyboard replacement. The idea was so that I could remotely control some Raspberry Pis which are serving as media display boards. I'd walk up, open the keyboard, press the associated "connection number 1-3" and start typing and mousing around. Turns out that the keyboard is absolutely PERFECT for this. I unfold the keyboard, press a button, and in seconds I'm controlling the Raspberry Pi (3b+ and a 4) without needing to hook up a USB cable. To pair the keyboard, it works exactly as you'd expect. You press the number key for a few seconds to put the keyboard into pairing mode, then start pairing on the RasPi's bluetooth manager. You select the ProtoARC when it shows up, and you type in the code. If the ProtoARC doesn't appear, you're not yet in pairing mode. Pairing takes seconds, and then stays associated indefinitely, even through reboots of the Pi (as you'd hope). The only thing I wish was that when you start typing (and the ProtoARC switches on), it would go back to the connection you used previously. This would be useful if I'm doing something for too long and the keyboard switches off, and then I want to start typing again. To get it to return to working you need to re-press the associated connection button. But this is an infinitessimally small niggle. It takes less than a second, and I don't even notice that I'm doing it any more. The keyboard is a FULL sized keyboard with mouse pad, but folded in half. So don't expect it to be like one of those iPad keyboards with mini keys that folds up to the size of a mobile phone. It's still a good 8" long and 1" thick when it's folded in its case. So you can't slip it into your jeans pocket. But if I'm on the train and want to prop up my phone and send an email, it's absolutely perfect. I'm not hunting and pecking little keys with my sausage fingers, I'm typing on a real keyboard. Now, the keys aren't UltraMax Cherry Red gaming keys or anything remotely like that. They're low profile, soft-touch easy-type ones. The 'bite point' is a little muddy too, so you're never quite certain how hard to push the key to register a key click. This makes it a good, soft, comfy keyboard for general typing, but not great for FAST typists or gaming. You'd never want to use this in a LAN party :) But that's not what it's for. The inbuilt touchpad is great. I kinda wish the 'button' touch points were at the top, as I keep hitting the 'buttons' with my palm. But that's because I'm not very careful. Having the pad inbuilt is awesome. No more need to have a bulky mouse in my pocket, everything's nice and flat. The hinges seem pretty good. I spent a little time studying how they work. If you accidentally wedged a pencil in there while you were closing it, you'd pop them out, so I'm always careful when I close it up if I've got a pad/pencil while I'm working. But they're metal (not plastic) like some hinges, so they should last a while. Very impressed with this keyboard!

Great portable keyboard!
A great product in general! You can fold it up and take it with you everywhere. Very practical and minimalistic. The trackpad and keyboard are great. I did return it because I am used to typing on a mac keyboard and the buttons felt very far apart. It took me longer to type something on this keyboard since I was so used to the laptop keyboard. If I wasn't using my laptop daily, I probably would have gotten adapted to this one quicker.

What a great professional portable keyboard!
So I don't usually leave reviews unless something exceeds my expectations and this is one of those moments. I reviewed many portable keyboards and as a software developer use tech a lot, so needed something functional and portable. Firstly, I have to commend ProtoArc in their product packaging as looks and feels like you're opening top end Microsoft or Mac product. Refreshing! Secondly, the unit seems well made and works very well. Keyboard feels nice to use and trackpad works perfectly. It's small enough to be portable and comes with a convenient case and phone stand, but large enough to be practical to use. Connected straightaway to my phone and woks like a dream. Only time will tell if it lasts, but very pleased with the purchase so far.

Good Product. Mediocre Result.
A little larger than i thught. Full size keys great! Plastic build a little dissapointing, touchpad on the small side. Lost the use of the keys and functions on the left hand side, from E & D along the folding point within 6 weeks of purchase, needs to be on a perfectly flat surface to work well!

Robustly constructed beautifully made
A really neat well designed portable keyboard. It folds up and unfolds with a satisfying click. Very robustly constructed yet light for its size (opens up to a full QWERTY). I take it with me when I travel for work and I don’t want/need my laptop. Also useful too for just leisure travel - it’s a pain to type on the screen at times especially if one is filling up online forms for concert or event tickets etc. The keys have a good feel - not spongy. Comes in a storage bag with a magnetic closure and also a stand for your phone.

I am amazed by how this product is designed. It came in a perfectly packaged box and when I opened it, I saw a thank you letter and a warranty card for 5 years. The keyboard came with a suitable cover that protects it so well and since you can pair it phone, they’ve put a pocket on the back of the cover and there is a phone holder that you can adjust the angle. It’s very light and it can connects to three devices and you can easily switch between them. The performance is perfect, no lags, no time gaps when you type, the mousepad is very nice and easy to work with and the connection is always active. The battery is super, I use it regularly and it’s been weeks since the last time I’ve charged it. Absolutely perfect quality product and worth every dollar. I recommend it strongly.

I've had many different Bluetooth keyboards over the years. This one is by far the best. I travel with my laptop daily using a pair of Ray Neo glasses as my monitor for the laptop and often for my phone as well my Oculus at times. This keyboard switches from device to device quickly and easily. The touchpad works great, it's as responsive and accurate as any I've ever used. I've had a smaller keyboard with touchpad before, but this one is much better. In fact, this is easily my favorite keyboard I've ever had for a number of reasons. One, it's thin and lite making it comfortable to type from any surface including your stomach when couch surfing with the Ray Neo's on. The keys feel great and I think I type better on this keyboard because of the slim profile and the easy touch keys. I gave a five star because I really love the keyboard, but there are two things that would make it absolutely perfect.(I wish there was a 4.5 because 4 seems to low) I wish the keys were backlit or at least glowed in the dark and also it would be great if the keyboard could lock in the opened and flat position. If they could add those two features without changing the perfect size and thickness or adding a lot of weight, I'd buy it and I'd have no problem paying a higher price tag. Either way, it's a great little keyboard.

Perfect for my needs, have it attached to my Zfold6 phone. Very easy to link up to devices, keys are easy to type on and feel almost like a proper keyboard. Track pad is good to use and can even be used with the protective film on it. Comes with phone / tablet stand and pouch to hold the keyboard and stand, Highly recommended.

This keyboard feels like such a step up from the usual temu quality keyboards on Amazon now. It came with freebies (phone stand, magnetic storage case, stickers, useable and helpful setup guide, and a charging cable) and shipped to me in a nice box! It paired to my iPad Pro seamlessly, works great so far, and is smaller (although thicker) than my previous mini travel keyboard when folded up. It’s nice unboxing a product that feels intentionally packaged, thoughtfully made, and nicely functional. It does feel a little loose at the joints when folded and I don’t think it would be the best ‘use in your lap’ type keyboard due to it having no way to lock open.
