Love these biscuits

These are nothing like the original sticky lemon puff biscuits. Even though they are now round and not oblong they are just a plain biscuit (which is more like an arrowroot) and certainly not tangy. Thanks to the European Standards Regulations, biscuits and cakes alike (i.e. vanilla cream slices) are not allowed to be made with the original puff/flaky pastry - which I expect is to keep production costs low. How they can be advertised as lemon puff biscuits is beyond me as it is a misleading description. I certainly will not be buying them again. Such a shame as I miss the original which like most biscuits and confectionary, once they have been sold off to other companies the quality suffers.

Must agree with the other reviewers - these are nothing like the original rectangular lemon puffs - I think they moved the production from Ireland to Portugal and it really shows - no "puff" in the biscuit and hardly any cream (which doesn't really taste of lemon!) - sorry, but I wont be buying these again.

The oblong biscuits were made in Ireland and cooked so they caramelised a little on the edges. I was told that new machines could not reproduce those lovely ones - so I do not buy them!
