Compact Size, Big Performance — Excellent 4K Dash Cam with Great Features:
I recently had the opportunity to test the Vantrue E1 Pro 4K Mini Dash Cam, and I must say, it left a positive impression. Here's a breakdown of my experience:Design & Installation: The dash cam's compact design is a standout feature. Its small footprint allows for discreet placement on the windshield, ensuring an unobstructed view while driving. Installation was straightforward, thanks to the intuitive setup process and clear instructions provided.Video Quality: Equipped with the STARVIS 2 sensor, the E1 Pro captures footage in impressive 4K resolution. Daytime recordings are crisp and detailed, making it easy to discern license plates and road signs. Nighttime performance is equally commendable; the enhanced sensor ensures clear footage even in low-light conditions, which is crucial for nighttime driving.User Interface: Navigating through the dash cam's settings is user-friendly. The interface is intuitive, allowing for easy adjustments to settings such as resolution, loop recording, and motion detection. The inclusion of voice control adds a layer of convenience, enabling hands-free operation—a feature I found particularly useful during drives.Additional Features: The PlatePixTM technology is a notable addition, ensuring that license plates are captured with clarity, which can be invaluable in the event of an incident. The buffered parking mode offers peace of mind when the vehicle is parked, recording events leading up to and after a detected motion or impact. Conclusion: Overall, the Vantrue E1 Pro 4K Mini Dash Cam delivers on its promises, offering high-quality video recording in a compact package. Its combination of advanced features and user-friendly design makes it a worthy investment for those seeking a reliable dash cam.

Overall 4/5 Stars Good Dashcam
I am replacing my older Vantrue T2 which has severed me well and is still quite functional. As for the Element 1 Pro (E1 Pro)PROS:Well made, compact, good form factor and capabilities, voice activated features, good mount with quick magnetic disconnect for the camera. Mobile app is pretty intuitive. Many manual settings to get it the way you want it *con also after a firmware update*. CPL filter works great and installs and adjusts easily. Video quality day/night. Price *catch it on sale. Wide field of view 158-160 degree. View, save or delete images, and video right from the mobile app.CONS: Cam housing will get hot when in direct sunlight *(This does not seem to bother the cams functions), **When doing firmware updates all of your settings revert back to default including your WIFI password! This is a security vulnerability if you do not remember to change it from the factory default IMO. There were some bugs in the firmware which Vanture has stated as being corrected once you do the firmware update. User manual is vague and you may need to visit the website for details on certain features such as Vantrue Intelligence which I have not tested yet. Mobile app can be somewhat sluggish when first opened, suggest to use 5G if possible on setup. Camera boot up takes a few seconds, I'm guessing it's doing system checks.Overall I am happy with my purchase. When you first go to position your camera on your windshield, please use the app to view the full recorded display. The cubes 1.4" read display only shows a cropped version of what is actually recorded.

Very Nice Dash Cam
This is a great dash cam, it works very well and was straight forward to install and interface the phone application with my iPhone. I decided to hardwire the camera to my vehicle and after a few hours of installing and hiding the wires the wire kit was defective, it had a bad power block. I ended up purchasing a second Van True wiring kit only to have it bad also, ended up going with the Rove hard wire kit and it worked flawless. I was able to hide all wires and it interfaced with the fuse block very nicely. The Van True 4K E1-Pro-Mini is a great dash cam unit, the video quality and the software are terrific.

Love'n it
I liked it so much, I decided to buy another one for my other car. The only small bits I don't like is that the unit gets very hot to the touch, the wifi name can't be changed, and the wifi password can only be 8 characters. Not worth knocking a star off.

Dual 4k Cameras Setup Gives Highest Resolutions
Weeks ago, I installed the two cameras in our EV9. They work perfectly! They are small and compact compared to other dashcams, and they have 4k resolution along with Wifi. Both units can be on the same Vantrue app, though you can only connect to one camera via Wifi at a time. I bought a remote that is connected to the rear camera, so it is easier to take a picture or lock the video if needed.Even with temperatures exceeding 118 degrees outside and the vehicle's interior reaching 125 degrees, both cameras work flawlessly. The front camera's wire is run where the windshield meets the headliner, then down in front of the corner pillar to avoid the airbag, then down the side, then under the floor mat, and then is plugged into the 12V outlet. Running this way was easier, and there is no issue in trying to determine the correct dongle to buy and use.The rear camera runs along the rear door rubber seal, then down the side, then plugs into the 12V outlet.I highly recommend!
