Inexpensive and feature rich - very functional
These are pretty amazing controllers and door access systems. We investigated many and found that every other supplier would not direct sell us the controllers, and wanted to charge a massive installation price and $1200 or more for just the control board. We were able to use these amazing controllers with various door access systems to secure almost 40 doors, install and configure them ourselves, with just a fraction of the cost, around 10% what we would have paid. Reaching out to their support, I have always received responses within 24 hours and have received the instructions I needed. Great product and support, I hope this supplier capture the door access industry which will bring the insane costs of big manufacturers demand into something reasonable!

Very impressive hardware & software solution
This is a very impressive DIY solution for building access control. I don't have a lot of experience with this application per se, but the hardware and software provided by MENGXI-CONTROL is very impressive. Given the relatively low price I was a little skeptical but decided to give it a shot. I ordered the 4-door control panel kit plus some extra MAG locks, push-to-exit door buttons, keypads and the motion sensor. Hardware build quality looks very robust and so far I've not encountered any issues or surprises. The hardware comes with extensive documentation which is also available online and is supplemented with many videos showing how to tie everything together. I'm really impressed most with the features offered by the software package. Before trying to install at a new property, set up a simple table top system with the panel, lock, and keypad. This makes it easy to play with the software and learn all the features. Once I got the hang of it, it was very easy to implement more complex features like time of day access control, department or tenant specific rules, etc...To top it off, customer support is really responsive and very clear with instructions.

Works well at HOA pools
Very Nice system. We installed this at a HOA pool and they love it. It does everything they want and keeps Owners from coming in after hours. We needed a little help from support to get all the functions we needed working as they can be a little hard to find. The manual doesn't have all the info needed but teck support was very fast to respond to my email with a video and PDF that answered all of my questions .

Installed about 3 months ago and so far, it's solid.
I installed into an "old house" now used as an office building about 3 months ago and so far, it's solid. For entry, the user swipes their fob and the controller grants access by applying 12vdc to release the door latch. The user simply pushes the door to open. Overall, I would rate the project as "very challenging" due to the old house environment. Installing into a commercial building with mag locks would probably be a lot easier. The controller itself was easy to install and setup. The instructions were clear enough for me. I'm not using all the fancy access control features like time-based lock/unlock and reporting, etc. so I can't speak to those. However, running the low voltage wire from the controller to the doors and replacing the old latches with electronic latches was challenging, especially the electronic latch installation. Note, if you have deadbolts on your doors, they can't be used any longer if you want your users to be able to gain access around the clock...…therefore, your doors could likely be easily breached since the latch is the only thing securing the door. Since we need to have 7/24 access, we decided to lock the deadbolts on all but one door after normal business hours. I have 3 doors connected with RFID fob readers. I changed out the doorknobs for ones that are "storage room" types...from outside, they're always locked, from the inside they are always open. ( Schlage F80-PLY F-Series Plymouth Storeroom Door Knob) I installed electronic latches (Seco-Larm SD-991A-D1Q). Also, for security concerns, I installed the controller setup software onto a cheap standalone Windows minicomputer. Overall, I think I spent about $800-$900 on parts and materials. If there are any failures, I’ll try and post an update here. Good luck!

Reliable system and trustworthy brand
Used multiple boards on different campuses, tech support was super helpful even though we had time zone challenges. But they never stopped helping us. They even helped us with an elevator access job and pulled the elevator manual online and walked us through the wiring.

Quality Product with excellent customer service.
I have recently retired from the access control business. I worked in this business for over 30 years in a electrical engineering capacity. I just purchased a local FBO airport facility with five buildings. I wanted to secure this facility with card access control but I didn’t want to spend tens of thousands of dollars like the systems I sold and designed in the past. I have five four door controllers. Three of these building are too remote to try and run 10/100 networking so I installed AP Bridges in these three building and hooked them up directly to these access control panels. The system has been working perfectly for over two years without any issues. All my pilots are issued proximity access cards and the doors remain controlled to each of these buildings. I just recently installed one of these controllers in a NEMA 12 enclosure mounted to a 100LL fuel pump. The pilots can use their proximity cards to turn the fuel pump on/off as needed to fuel their plane. Once again I installed a outdoor wireless bridge to connect this controller to my office computer. I highly recommend this system and the price is so low I was concerned that the quality wouldn’t be there….well they have proved me wrong. Tech support responds in 24 hours or less with charts and pictures to answer all of my questions.
