Bought this in conjunction with a planer/thicknesser as i was running pallet wood through and wanted to make sure all the nails were removed. Works great and it's cheeper than having to replace a new blade

Never used anything like this before so here’s what I think of it firstly excellent value for money if it finds a nail and stops me putting it through my planer then saves me a lot of time and money started using it as soon as it arrived and it spotted every nail in the wood I was using never missed one as a metal detector first class function is easy as pie looks to be waterproof but not planning on getting it wet so easy to use at first kept finding nails that I couldn’t see no matter how I searched turned out I was holding the wood on my leg and it was picking my keys up in my pocket so functionality is perfect I look forward to a long and happy relationship with this little tool it’s brilliant so far it definitely works I’m really surprised

Very easy to use does the job well

Excellent value for money, includes everything you need to start detecting. Used it this weekend at a rally , performed great. Located very small pieces of metal. As a starter probe, back up or like me replacement this is the one for you .

I bought this to help with finding small bits but it was disappointing. It felt cheap and didn’t seem very reliable when trying to locate anything properly. I ended up not using it much and wouldn’t buy it again.

Excellent little gadget which I got to check for nails in wood I am cutting. More sensitive than another security type one I use too. Lightweight and small enough not to get in the way but easy to use. Can't say how long battery will last as I don't use it for hours at a time but expect it to be a fair amount of time. Fairly robust which also is useful in a workshop environment.

Der Flintronic Pin Pointer wurde schnell geliefert und macht einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck. Die Verarbeitung ist top – sowohl das Gerät selbst als auch die mitgelieferte Gürteltasche wirken robust und durchdacht. In der Praxis hat er auf unserer Tour hervorragende Dienste geleistet. Liegt gut in der Hand ist kompakt und leicht. Sobald der große Metalldetektor ein Signal gibt, hilft der Pin Pointer dabei, die exakte Stelle zu lokalisieren – das spart Zeit und Nerven beim Graben. Der Ton ist nicht zu laut, nicht zu leise. Perfekt für Diskretion. Die Tiefenreichweite ist zwar eher gering, aber wenn man etwas tiefer gräbt und den Pin Pointer dann in das Loch hält, funktioniert er einwandfrei. Erwähnenswert ist auch, dass der Pin Pointer dank des eingebauten Lichts problemlos im Dunkeln verwendet werden kann – keine Selbstverständlichkeit in dieser Preisklasse.
