I contacted them to an issue I had with my first knife, nothing major. It's a great knife and did not want to return it. They gave me a credit for a second knife and I just purchased my second Jeo Tec. I do a lot of Bush crafting and this is by far a great product. I was very impressed how quick they were to address my problem. I like this knife. A lot!

As a former nuclear quality assurance auditor I can say my product quality expectations are typically very high. This knife has a quality level beyond my expectations! The weight, size and balance are just…wow, excellent! The craftsmanship is just incredible, love the attention to detail! I don’t think I could take this into the field - it’s a top tier item that belongs in the cabinet with my sword, steins and watch collections! Price point is spot on - high recommend this knife, and that’s an understatement!!! Kudos to Jeo-Tec!!!

The sheath is low budget

I bought this knife form jeotech. While using it it experienced a catastrophic failure. After posting an initial review explaining how much I loved this knife and how disappointing it was to have this occurre I was contacted by the company. They have sense took every measure to ensure that I am completely satisfied they have continually apologized about the incident and inconvenience i experienced. I truly have to say that any company can have something negative happen to them, how they handle it makes all the difference. This is a company I will continue to come back to in the future. I greatly appreciate all the help and cooperation they have extended to me. This truly goes to show not all companies are money hungry.

The knife is very well made ,love the flat grind. There is a micro bevel which I don't like! The maker should have continued the grind to the end of the blade, which will make it razor sharp. The blade needed to be sharpened as soon as I got it .. The sheath was not well thought out. If you try to wear it side ways ,the snap the holds the belt loop closed is in the way.It is a bad system for a belt loop, you could lose the knife when it unsnaps ! I am going to take the belt loop and put it around the knife with a snap to hold it closed.( that will give you two straps to hold the knife in the sheath . I think you would have to wear a very narrow belt to wear the knife side ways ,even if you could wear the sheath side ways and get buy the snap that's in the way. .Back to the sheath it is brown ,the sheath has a shinny look to it ,it doesn't look like real leather, more like patten leather you use on dress shoes ( for people that didn't like to shine their shoes) Natural cow hide would have been better ,love the smell of new leather !After I fix the things that are wrong, I will make it my EDC knife !

Excellent weight balance, beautifully made. Solid construction. Though the grips are mounted to the handle, the blade and handle are one solid piece. The firestarter is a nice extra though I won't be carrying it on the sheath. Someone had commented that the sheath was cheaply made, I disagree, very happy with the quality and with the material the knife is made from should hold the edge extremely well.

The mirror finish is okay ish looks a little orange peel on mine but overall looks nice haven’t been able to use it camping or anything yet so can’t speak on the sturdiness of it but came very sharp out of the box, you can tell the sheath is lower quality but is still very nice

Good looking. It feels solid in hand. Can't wait to try it this summer. I would by again or offer as a gift.

Reading the reviews before buying some people mentioned the blade being kind of dull. I agree it’s not very sharp. Don’t get me wrong, it will cut, but not easily. That being said if you’re buying this type of knife it would be assumed you either already know or will learn how to sharpen a blade. Just would be nice to be able to fully use it out of the box for $150 knife. Other then that the fit and finish of the knife is very nice.

Finish could be better, quality control issues are present, screws are not counter sunk to the same depth, handles are not completely simetrical, blade is not sharpened to equal bevel on each side, blade has divots on side from over polishing. Blade is not polished to a shine, is full of micro scratches. Not worth the price.

This is my second Jeo-Tec knife and, like the first, it doesn’t disappoint. It’s a beauty to look at, very functional and a tough all around knife. I purchased the first one (No. 9), for hunting and bushcraft and this second one for general use. It was shipped sharp enough to shave with (did the arm hair shave test), and ready to use.I own and have owned several knives as I spend a lot of time in the woods and they are necessary tools. I take a lot of time to check out others’ reviews and learn about the company who makes them. I doubt I will be looking any further for future knives, I’m becoming really partial to the Jeo-Tec line even though they make the same knives under other brand names as well. They are just beautiful, high quality knives.I would like to add that I had to order the knife twice. The clasp that keeps the knife from falling out was broken on the first one and had to be returned. But since it was ordered on Amazon the return was easy enough.
