High Quality German Engineering!
This Rotring 0.5 mm pencil, Chocolate Truffle color, is really a work of art. The German engineering is superb. The weight is ideal and well balanced. I really love the color; it seems to have some red in it therefore, giving the pencil a somewhat Burgundy color, and not a dark brown Chocolate color as I thought it would be. I really like the 0.5 mm size lead type of pencils more than any other size of pencil leads The pencil came with HB type hardness lead which, is a little too hard for me. Personally, I intend to use either the 2B or 3B types of leads which, are softer and darker than the HB leads.

The best mechanical pencil I've held in my 60+ years.
Excellent feel and weight. The pencil is as slim as any I've used but has a solid heft. Attractive design. It took days to arrive and I received customs updates. There were no port fees. Why my grey pencil cost one half to twice the price of the basic colors is a mystery. It's price fluctuated wildly daily. I can not attest to durability. Just handle as you something delicate. Don't drop it.

This is the second Rotring pencil I get, love them both quality build.

Wrong size. Rotring doesn’t make a .7 in this color.
I have ordered this pencil twice. Both times a .7mm rotring pencil arrived. Both times inside there was a .5mm rotring. Pencil is genuine. Original packaging. But there’s been some mixup somewhere along the manufacturing line. I will attempt to contact rotring tomorrow and see what’s up. Really want this in a .7mm. Update, I contacted rotring. They do not make these colors in a .7. Only a .5. I don’t know why they are in .7 boxes, but the official statement from the company and checking their website product listings, this color and the chocolate color only come in .5

Product received wasn't product ordered (wanted 0.7mm, received 0.5mm)
The incorrect sizing (0.5mm is not 0.7mm like I ordered) means this pencil doesn't perform as advertised. The lead breaks due to the smaller than expected size. The weight would be great, again, if I received the correct 0.7mm. I'm not going to send this back because the international shipping costs as much as the pencil, so I might as well give it to someone else who can make use of it.

This is a complete SCAM! Don't do it! It is a 0.5 It cost me $30.00 and the return $20.00 so, I lost $50.00 and I don't have anything.

Comprei lapiseira 0,7mm, foi entregue 0,5mm. Apesar disto, a qualidade Rotring é indiscutível.

Rotring Qualität, da gibt's es nichtstzu bemängeln. Schreibt ohne Unterbrechung, liegt gut in der Hand, hat ein ordentliches Eigengewicht, kein Leichtgewicht! Selbst bei etwas schwitzen fingen, gute Stabilität, da am Griff an der Spitze eine feine Riffelung eingearbeitet ist. Keine äußeren Plastikteile. Toller Stift.
