This transformed my super light aluminium tripod. It weighs with this attached about 600g and fits inside a small backpack. That's a cheap Chinese tripod that came from my Celestron Travelscope 80 telescope. This mount is all metal, very sturdy, the lock works very well, it's very easy to mount to camera and tripod and use. I highly recommend it!

Great build quality and very functional

Hoped to use with my existing tripod and monopod and the heads that came with them, but the plate is fixed on both heads and cannot be removed, therefore had to return the UTEBIT for a refund. The item is well made and works as expected, but I suggest you check your existing head(s) before placing an order.

It works, and works well enough for me to buy a second, which arrives tomorrow.To all intents and purposes, it is near enough a clone of original manfrottos' for both parts to work with Manfrotto QR clamps.The only thing is the weight. Not that it's heavy, it's pretty much the same weight as the original. Just that with any gear, you want the impossible, heavy enough to stay where it is placed, but light enough not to notice it when carrying, LOL!

It's simple, less bulky than most, and very sturdy. I now have a QR plate on all of my cameras and a shoe on both my monopod and my tripod.

This quick release plate with clamp is well built and engineered but sadly not compatible with the Giottos MH1300-652 ball head. The Giottos ball head has two raised lugs on the connecting plate unfortunately the UTEBIT clamp does not have reciprocal holes in the clamp base to accommodate the lugs as a result the clamp does not sit flush or securely on the Giottos ball head.

This is a super quick way of mounting your camera on a 1/4" camera screw. The latch snaps in place when you angle your camera in and you can lock the latch with the 2nd latch below it and it becomes very safe and sturdy indeed!This is the 2nd unit I bought (so far) and the quality is just as good on the 2nd one. I can quickly switch my A6000 from overhead filming through a capture card to using it on a tripod for normal photography. I will likely buy more in the future!
