I purchased 8 of these in total to replace my fleet of Omada AX3000 units so that I could get 6GHz coverage and wifi 7 as many of my devices now support that. Setup, like every Omada AP device was extremely easy. Its a simple login to the controller, adopt the AP, give it a name and watch it fully configure it automatically. To get full benefit from this you do need to pipe in a 10Gbps connection which meant I had to update all my POE+ switches to the SX3206HPP at a great expense to get the full benefits of this AP but it has been well worth it. In optimal conditions with MLO configured my wifi 7 laptops that support 6ghz transmit data faster than a hardline 1Gbps ethernet connection and at times I was hitting 4Gbps over wifi which is just incredible. I have 329 wifi devices connected to my AP's and have not had a single issue with any of them included the super old ioT 2.4ghz devices I still have in place. Stability has been rock solid as well, absolutely no dropped connections and the range has been very good, so good in fact that i wish I had only bought maybe 4 of these and reduced my AP count vs. just replacing all the ones I had with these but with 6ghz not really going too far having this high of a concentration means i have extremely fast connections no matter where I am at in my home or around my property. While these are expensive because they integrate so well with the Omada platform they are worth every cent to me as I don't have to do a single thing with these once configured and they are rock solid the entire time. Overall I am really pleased moving to these from my old AX3000 and expect a good 10 years of life from these as this will be all the speed I ever need.

I replaced an Omada Wi-Fi 6 eap with this one and it’s worked well and seriously increased my Wi-Fi speed to the supported devices. Easy transition from the old eap to this one. Would recommend.

Great device. Easy to configure. Setup was easy, although I changed it a few times to make it better suited to my house. I can now stand outside and my wifi still connects and works with performance. I will purchase another one down the road. The value, price is very good. If anything, I might get one of the higher, more expensive, Omada ones. The range is great. I live in an old solid brick wall house. I have reception everywhere. I did place the unit in the attic. Seems stable, no reboot related issues. Once setup, I have left it alone.

Fast, configurable, but not entirely reliable. I'm using the software controller in a VM for managing a couple of these. The configurability and options blow away any consumer device for not really any more cost. The only issue I seem to often experience is the 6Ghz SSID availability. When working, I can get just over 1 GBps over WiFi 6E from my phone. The is an internal test to a speed test docker that is capable of aleast 2.5GBE speeds. Lastly, TP-Link has a questionable security reputation. But I don't use a TP-Link router or other manager networking hardware. As they say, don't put all your eggs in on basket.
