Great Cookbook with Delicious, Family-Approved Recipes
I bought this cookbook for my wife for Christmas since she already owns a few other books by this author, and it has quickly become one of her favorites. She has already tried several recipes from it, and many of them have become family favorites at our house. What we really appreciate about this book is the great variety of recipes. There are plenty of options for everyday meals as well as dishes that feel a little more special when you want to try something new. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, which makes cooking from the book simple and enjoyable. Another highlight is the beautiful photos throughout the book. I love Sally's recipes. They are easy to follow and always taste great. This cookbook is no exception. The content is mainly for desserts but it does offer some brunch recipes, too. There are plenty of baking hints and the illustrations are helpful! Sally takes recipes to the highest level by changing things and making baking an easy endeavor!

Wonderful, easy-to-understand book
Sally is my go-to for online recipes due to her rigorous recipe testing, approachable instructions and practical modification notes. I am delighted to see those benefits translate beautifully to book form, with tons of additional recipes not found on her blog! The pictures are gorgeous, and include some step-by step-break downs for visual learners. Recipes and instructions are well organized, and each has a little summary of skill level and time investment so you can quickly decide where to dive in. Both US and metric measurements are included. Great gift for beginner or advanced home bakers. I'm so excited to get going on these - I expect delicious results!

My new go-to for everything
I am a seasoned baker and am surprised I found Sally only recently. I wish it would have been sooner! This book is by far one of the best I have worked through. Every recipe is a "no fail" and bakes that I have been hesitant to try for years, like puff pastry and bagels, felt simple to execute and were always successful. Strongly recommend for a new baker, or a seasoned baker who needs new "go-to" recipes for all the basics. I'd give it 10 stars!

The Perfect Book For A Baking Addict
Sally is a staple in my household so buying her amazing cookbook was simply a must. So many of my favorite recipes are included as well as a variety I have yet to try. These are indeed fool-proof, coming from a certified baking fool. I have never had a recipe from Sally turn out wrong. The cookbook itself is extremely well done! From front to back it is a thoughtfully crafted labor of love filled to the brim with tips, tricks, stunning photography, and wonderfully selected recipes.
