Sennheiser PX 100-II On Ear Miniheadphone (White) (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I have a wide variety of headphones at various price levels from $25-500 each. I have to start by saying that these phones don't have to hang their head in shame compared to any of my best 'phones. In fact I find myself using these for casual listening even in my better stereo systems (McIntosh based in bedroom, custom tube amp based in living room) because they are so light and comfortable to wear. I use them a LOT in bed with my Ipod! Bass repsonse is nice and full with good power and impact at the lowest end and mids and treble are smooth and nicely extended, with perhaps just a slight loss of sheen and harmonics at the very top compared with my best 'phones. All in all I am very pleased with the purchase and highly recommend these phones to people who need light, portable phones but who are finicky about sound quality. IMHO you won't be disappointed. About the only other phones I could recommend with this level of sound at these prices would be  Grado Prestige Series SR80i Stereo Headphone  but they are more bulky and less portable friendly though they do sound just a bit better in all respects.

Admitted I have not have much experience with headphones, but from my limited viewpoint I consider the PX-100 II a decent buy. I'm not a bass head, but these headphones have made me appreciate bass a bit more. On its construction, I really find the metal band on the top very aesthetically appealing while making it very durable. The open design makes PX-100 II very comfortable on the ears but may leak some sound to people near you. I really appreciate the single sided cord which prevents tangling. However the cord feels somewhat fragile and I'm constantly afraid one bad accidental tug may badly damage the cord.It's a bit expensive at 70 dollars, waiting for a price drop may be wise. I'd give this a 5 if it were cheaper and the construction of the cord was as good as the band but as it is, the PX-100 II gets 4 stars.

If you are like me, earbuds are uncomfortable and fall out-never a good fit but these on the other hand-pure bliss! They provide comfort and great sound quality offering portability for carrying around with your ipod, ipod touch, iphone or other portable device. They are great for using on the plane. So like earbuds, they are small and portable. Many headphones are cumbersome but these fold up like glasses making them a great travel companion, preferring these any day to earbuds or the other bulky headphones on the market. The larger headphones are great if you aren't traveling or walking around but these are perfect if you are on the go. You can't beat the sound quality and they offer them in white or black. My white headphones go great with the ipod touch and are very attractive. What a great find! What are you waiting for? Stop looking and buy these, you won't regret it!

Got the white version of these headphones for my sister after she tried the black pair I have. Great sound from a fully fold-able headphone set, and quite comfortable too. Sennheiser has been my go-to headphone manufacturer for years, and the $80 PX100-ii didn't disappoint. If your smartphone or PC has audio equalization to boost the high frequencies just a touch, you can bump these headphones to a 5 star rating. That said, even though there a bit dark up on high, they're really quite good as is.

Purchased these headphones for my wife to use with her 2017 standard model I-pad. She approves of the choice and finds the headphone more comfortable and provide better sound quality than the ear buds that came from Apple. These headphones do not block external sounds from being heard by the listener, and they have a stylish appearance. The most important benefit is that another person six feet away will find the stray sound from the headphones at normal volume is inaudible. Now she has the freedom to watch videos without creating a noise distraction for other people in the room.

Sennheiser PX 100-ii is arguably one of the best sounding headphones and best value on the market. This is the second pair I've purchased, to replace my aging PX 100 which are looking kind of shabby after 5 years and being stepped on a few times ;-). Lightweight, comfortable and superb sound. The fold up design makes them easy to tote around. I use them in the house, at the gym---everywhere. I also have Sennheiser ear buds; also great sound but sometimes I prefer headphones resting gently on my ears instead of stuck in them. You can usually get them for around $50. I bought these after seeing the rave reviews. For the most part they sound very good with decent bass and good highs. I found them very light weight but I wear glasses and after a few hours they did hurt a little on one ear. I doubt they would botherAnyone who doesn't wear glasses.they fold down very compact but don't seem like they could take a lot of rough handling or tossing around. They're basically made of plastic with a small metal band across the top. Once in awhile the foam ear pads will come off but pop back on easily. Price wise I really think $39 would be better than $69 and no way I pay $99 for these.I think I still prefer over the ear rather than on the ear simply for comfort sake.

I've had at least four PX-100s over the years PX-100, PX-100II, PX-100IIi -- which I wear out with sweat and heavy use. But the sound never fails me. It's much richer and more detailed than other comparable -- or even pricier -- headphones. Disappointed they've been discontinued, but as long as I can find them on Amazon, they'll have a home in my house.

Fantastic headphones for the price! They seem to be unavailable now (the model is discontinued by Sennheiser) but if you can find them at low price, grab them! They are light, comfortable, can be worn for long periods of time (work very well with glasses due to the weight), and the sound is very good for my liking. Very good balanced sound, clear highs, good mids and controlled bass. Don't expect "extra-bass-boost" type of headphones - these are kind of neutral. I use them for video editing, they work very well for that purpose.

This is my second time ordering these and they do not disappoint! Awesome sound quality and fairly durable for their slim design. I sweat A LOT at the gym and my last pair eventually stopped working from water damage. This time I use then with a sweatband and dry them with tissue (under the foamies) at the end of my workouts. They are lasting me and the sound remains perfect. I like over-the-head headphones because I run and these stay on and I can just forget about them. the cord is long enough that I keep it behind my back in a pocket. I got the white colour and they are still nice and clean, even with the sweating.

Bought these as had an older pair bought 10 years ago- only downside is no case which my old ones had - if you hate earbuds these are awesome choice
