Marrex MX-G10M MKII GPS Receiver for Canon 1DX, 1DC, 5DS, 5DS-R, 5DMark III, 6D, 7D, 70D, 100D, 650D, 700D, 750D, 760D, 1200D, EOS M, EOS M2

Just given this GPS receiver it's first try out on a weekend visit to Barcelona on my Canon 760D. Checking Exif data of photo on Google Earth shows an accuracy of about 3 or 4 meters. Might go up to 5 stars when I've mastered the control buttons.First impression is very good value. Recently been to Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia (Feb 2019). Cannot fault it's accuracy. Good value for money. I now give it a 5 star rating.

Didn't work and kept locking the camera up. Seller happily accepted the return and refunded.

This should have been an excellent addition to my photography kit except that it only worked for a few days then stopped working all together.With no obvious reasons for failure I decided to request a refund which was promptly processed.I would hope that my experience of this unit does not deter future buyers as I feel sure my experiences were not typical of this company, hence my 3-star rating is for their prompt reimbursement.

It did what it said on the can. Tried it out today, January 3rd, and Lightroom's Maps showed me exactly where I'd taken them, not that I didn't know already.

Really great product for the price and a fast delivery as well. Positioning info was spot on and the unit reacted very fast from switch on.

CANON 70DThis is what I have sent to the manufacturer :-I tried again today Switched on GPS working fine giving altitude and Lat & Long Switched on the 70D Went to GPS menu Selected - set time - camera froze - had to switch gps off to go back to the menu Selected - calibrate compass - camera froze - had to switch gps off. I purchased it because you said it is compatible with the Canon 70D it is not. I am going to report this to Amazon
