This cookbook was so eagerly anticipated and is even better than I could have imagined! Had time to sit down and write a review this morning so took photos of what I have in my fridge straight out of this fantastic new offering by Kristie Sullivan, a renowned and beloved author. I joined Kristie's Facebook group and have been following the Keto way of eating ( low carb, moderate protein, healthy fats ) for about a year now with results that I never thought possible. An unexpected bonus is my diabetes has been reversed! YES reversed...my A1c has been normal for 11+ months now. I am over 60 and post-menopausal which is the hardest group to be in for sustained weight loss and improved health, so if I can do it YOU can do it! Do your research as there is some stunning data coming out from the scientific community in just the last few years. I have Kristie Sullivan's first two books, " Journey To Health" and "Day by Day" and they are in a very sad state indeed with food drips, sticky notes and scribbles galore as I use them every day. Literally EVERY DAY! I am certain her new "Keto Gatherings" will soon look just as loved. Kristie's recipes are absolutely delicious and utterly reliable with tips about sides and options for ingredients. And it is not just for holidays! Some of the many recipes I have already tried since the Dec. 4th release are in ( ). The book is laid out by the month that includes a different muffin ( Pumpkin Spice pictured below ) cocktail ( Lemon Drop Martini ) and ice cream ( Mint Chocolate Chip ) selection every month. There are recipes for appetizers ( Sausage Balls), quick weeknight dinners ( Easy Weeknight Reuben Casserole pictured below ), soups (Steamy Seafood Chowder) , breakfast ( David's Favorite Southwestern Breakfast Casserole ), sauces ( Hot Fudge ), dressings (Raspberry Vinaigrette), football ( Game Day Sausage Dip ), tailgating ( Mason Jar Chili and Cornbread ), cookies ( Gingerbread Cookies ) specialty coffees ( Creamy Pumpkin Spice), desserts ( Grandmothers Christmas Coconut Cream Cake - I made as cupcakes that were SUCH a hit! ), snacks (Cheese Straws) , condiments ( Kristie's ketchup) and everything in between. Of course there are wonderful recipes for " gatherings" too! My Christmas day will include Brunch Bloody Mary's, Orange Danish Pull Apart Bread & Breakfast Strata in the morning then Perfect Beef Tenderloin, Baked Macaroni and Cheese, Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Bacon, Harvest Squash Casserole and Black Forest Cheesecake. Yummo...I can't wait! The portions are generous and the nutrition info takes out all the guess work about feeding your family real food with whole ingredients. I promise you will not be disappointed. I am so grateful to Kristie Sullivan for her commitment to educating folks about the health benefits of Keto and providing all of us with delicious and healthy food for the entire family!I wish "Day By Day" had been available when I first started Keto as the information it contains is so valuable. It is formatted in a way that guides a beginner through the first month of Keto and includes access to a daily video with valuable tips and tricks, pitfalls to avoid plus sample menus, recipes and even a grocery list. I highly recommend "Day By Day" for those who have decided to improve their heath with the Keto way of eating.

After 3.5 years keto, I can tell you this is the best life and these recipes are how you sustain it.
(I had the privilege of serving as a volunteer recipe tester for this book.)I was stoked to receive my copy of Keto Gatherings (paperback and Kindle, have to have both!) and have spent every spare moment digging into it. I started flipping through it immediately to make notes of my favorites, but truly, every recipe I tested was amazing. New staples in my house include Maple Donuts, Rosemary Asiago Bagels, Banana Nut Muffins, Peanut Butter No-Nana Muffins (those four hooked my husband on keto!), Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Chicken with Asiago Sauce, Game Day Sausage Dip, Baked Cinnamon Faux Oatmeal, Barbacoa and tortillas! The Cinnamon Pull Apart Bread, Chocolate Eclair Cake and No Bake Chocolate Cow Pie Cookies will stop you in your tracks and make you wonder why the whole world isn’t keto! My family has given up traditional hot fudge in favor of Kristie’s incredibly decadent, healthy version. Since receiving my copy I’ve tried the Al Pastor and although it’s listed as a celebration meal, it makes an awesome weeknight and freezer meal, too!!You can taste the love that went into each of these recipes that Kristie developed to treat her loved ones. Recipes I can’t wait to try include Cheese Straws, Lemon Poppyseed Muffins, Savory Breakfast Muffins, White Russian, and Lemon Drop Martini. Can you even believe we have these fabulous options on a “diet”?After 3.5 years keto, I can tell you this is the best life and these recipes are how you sustain it!! Thank you, Kristie, for another masterpiece!!

Great keto cooking! I’ve loved everything I tried!
Every single recipe I’ve made has been a hit! This book is great for all of the holiday cooking- from Christmas to St Patrick’s Day, to Football tailgates, to July 4th celebrations. Big variety in here and oh, the ice cream recipes (But be careful and don’t overindulge)!!! Kristie Sullivan really knocks it out of the park with keto cooking that even my non-keto family members can enjoy. The nutrition information is great and I really enjoy her personalized narratives. She is a wealth of great information. I’ve bought all 4 of her recipe books and can’t wait for a new one to come out. My only regret? I wish I had bought the hardback edition instead of Kindle because I find it cumbersome to go into settings... look for bookmarks... then find the recipe. The plus side? Any corrections that need to be made to the book automatically update in your Kindle version. I’d just rather have a physical book with a bunch of post it notes hanging all out of it.

It has finally arrived!
Finally! Delivery date arrived and 3 copies are here! The book is beautifully illustrated with photos and personal stories. I have been a Kristie-follower since the beginning, am a lifetime ketoer after 3 years, maintaining an 80+ pound weightloss, and am 65 years old. Kristie is a Southern cook and so am I. I love that she recreates the recipes I love to cook. Kristie has walked a keto mile for over 5 years. She knows what fat and pain feel like. She knows what keto can do for us all and she is determined to pay her blessings forward. She connects well with the "least of these", the men and women who struggle daily with metabolic illness that others just see as fat, lazy and out of control. Keto is revolutionary, yet the world is slow to take it seriously. Hopefully people in the keto spotlight, like Kristie, will continue to promote its health benefits so that we will be more recognized in medical facilities, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. As for the recipes. I have made several from her YouTube videos and cannot wait to try many of these. The hubby will be much more happy about his "forced" keto lifestyle when I start making some of the ice cream recipes! Thanks, Kristie!!

Suited to families who entertain frequently
Nicely photographed recipes, obviously a lot of effort went into this book. Unfortunately the recipes just aren’t what we’d make in our house, as we are usually looking for quick tasty weeknight dinners and only the rare sweet. Each month has a muffin, birthday treat, cocktail and ice cream of the month, and then there are recipes geared to each holiday. Recipe style has strong Southern influence. 4 stars because while it’s not for us, many will find this to be the keto entertaining book they’ve been looking for, and Kristie is a trustworthy source of info on the ketogenic diet.

A pleasure to read, and to cook from
This is by far the most considered and organized of this author's books. Nice to have a complete menu for special days throughout the year. And very nice recipes. For people who want to eat healthy and well. For anyone doing keto and low carb.

You can trust this book to keep you in Ketosis!
I have all three of Kristie Sullivan's Books. She has spent her time making sure others can stick to the Keto Way Of Eating by publishing her wonderful and insightful recipes. I recommend Keto Day by Day for beginners, then any of her other books. I followed Kristie's Recipes and advice and lost 95 lbs in 10 months to my goal weight. I will purchase any Recipe Books she publishes. Thank you Kristie for taking the hard work away from us.

Difficult
The information was good but it was difficult to find the recipes and the information without reading through the information that was not of interest at the time. Even the recipes provided are by month and not listed by either ingredients or order of eating such as appetizers, desserts, etc. Otherwise the info is good for someone needing to learn. having the recipes at the end or listed in a cookbook order would bring my rating up.

Recipes are good, but ingredients hard to find if your international
The book itself is kind of a repeat of the book she wrote prior to this. More background of why she stared keto, but it goes into more ways of including keto in your life. I would like to try some recipes, but some ingredients mainly oat fiber and sukrin gold (liquid syrup) is unattainable where I live. I might could order it, but the shipping cost would be a bit high. So I bought a book that tells me more about keto, same story of why she started keto, some good recipes, but overall I wouldn't really recommend it.
