Universal Saddles Kayak Carrier Canoe Boat. Surf Ski Roof Top Mounted on Car SUV Crossbar

Fantastic kayak/canoe mount for the price. I use it for my 14.5' Old Town canoe, and I absolutely love it! I used to flip the canoe upside down to transport it but it was always so difficult to do by myself. I purchased a suction cup roller for the rear glass which I use to roll the canoe into position. It's so easy to mount now with just one person and it takes only 10 seconds! The included straps are all you need to secure it toward the middle, tying down on the crossbars. I find using additional tie downs on the front and back are unnecessary.Note: the screws that come with the set are way too long, and I couldn't use them for my 2015 Outback, as it didn't have enough clearance. I had to go to the hardware store and buy 16, 1.5" 8mm matching screws.

I love the quality of this product. The saddles are high quality and I would love to use these to haul my 18-foot fiberglass kayak, however, when I received the saddles, there were 4 missing hand screws and the bolts were too long for my standard size roof racks.

This product was exactly what i was looking for, easy to mount, screws are a bit too long and had to flip them upside down to install them or else they would have gone straight down and through my roof. Iv traveled over 70mph without the kayak up and havent seen these shift or loosen up. The screws are my only concern but arent long enough to hit or damage my kayak when its up and mounted. I would recommend this product to anyone, it make loading and unloading very easy for me and my spouse.

Had tje J style rack mounts for my kayak that never seemed to hold the craft well. These held fast and securely on their first trip from Fort Lauderdale down to Marathon at 70+ MPH. Very good value. Extremely pleased.

They work great, but make sure they are really tight before you load up. The bolts could turn and scratch your paint.

One of the brackets is missing a hole, so I cannot install it. Very disapponted.

Missing the screw on nut, otherwise great

The carriage bolts are about 3” long, to long for my Subaru Outback. 2” would work but having trouble finding them. No phone number or contacts in the instructions. Tried them upside down and while they do tighten, they are difficult and would dig into the kayak.This again is a problem of them being so long.They provided me with shorter bolts, so now it works. Takes a long time to mount
