AmazonBasics Extended Gaming Mouse Pad,Black

Firstly, majority of products from AmazonBasics dont bullshit about their quality. They have the most practical products out there. Do not hesitate to buy off AmazonBasics. Now about the Mouse pad, technically it covers my majority desk which is about 3 ft across & 2.5 ft tall . This is a huge table pad made of this amazing silicon/fabric material that cannot go wrong with its premium feel & texture. It just gives you that extra mile of inspiration you need to complete your task at hand. (I feel uber cool sitting at my desk now than before) - Highly Durable - Easily Washable - Multiple Usages - Average Priced - HUGE! Im no gamer & just needed a mouse pad & came across this beast. Theres no going wrong with multiple applications this product has. Can be used for various application if you have the brain soup to do so. As shown in the picture tagged, fits my 27" Desktop, 13" laptop & ample space for stationery & other necessities. P.s. A absolute shout-out to this product and its usages. A great buy. Cheers!

The size I bought is the Extended. I wanted to get a new mousepad to replace my Steelseries QcK that I had been using for the past 4 years. My initial thoughts were to get another QcK, but then I came across this one which was cheaper. Size: This mousepad is very big. It covers the entire length of my desk and is also quite wide(twice the breadth of my old QcK), so you have a lot of room to aim both horizontally and vertically. This will enable me to try a lower sensitivity since there's no way I'll slip off the pad when turning wide. You basically will never need to lift the mouse off the pad to reposition. Material: The material feels exactly the same as the QcK I have, which is excellent. This came as a surprise to me as I thought it might be a lower quality material since it was so cheap. It's a flexible cloth mousepad which is a little thicker than the QcK. The bottom is rubberized so it will not slip. I have not needed to clean it yet, so I can't comment on the machine-washable part. The only thing I'm wary of is that the edges of the cloth and the rubber are not stitched together, but glued. This can cause the 2 layers to separate after a while. This was one of the main reasons I wanted to replace my old QcK after years of use. However, considering the size of this pad, it wouldn't be a big deal even if the sides peeled off a little as there would still be plenty of usable space. Overall excellent mousepad for the price.

Great product but it's a dust magnet.

I've used Razer Goliathus extended fragged control edition and Steelseries Qck+ MYM Edition and both were exactly same size and as the same suggest razer surface was rough and steelseries variant was smooth but I was looking for a extended mousepad so I can keep my keyboard on it as well and this turned out to be a great purchase and a worthy product for writing a review. I've always liked Amazon Basics products as eventhough they try to cut costs but still most of the products tends to be on a durable and ideal for price they charge and I got this mousepad for about Rs 429/- in a random sale which for me is a steal! For both of my aforementioned mousepads I paid about 1500 each back in 2009 when I bought them and they've served me well over the years but this sure is a satisfactory upgrade. Pros :- 1) The size of this thing is enormous even for a traditional extended mousepad - I have both my keyboard and mouse and still have space left to keep lots of junk and even food plate on it. 2) Great quality as I keep hot food on the surface many times and it takes it like a champ unlike other brands like razer who's rubber start melting from a lil heat. 3) If you're someone who can't decide that you want a soft smooth surface pad or a rugged control edition, this one will be ideal as it's somewhere between. Cons :- 1) The surface is not so smooth and might feel rough to some palm grip users users like me who have razer deathadder 2) The edges are not breaded so they'll tear and can cause discomfort for some people. Add this on your wish list & try to grab this on the next lightning deal. For the price, size and quality this is a no brainier!

Amazonbasics is the brand that is providing a great number of products exclusively on Amazon official website only but with great quality. The quality of this AmazonBasics gaming mouse pad is too amazing as I mentioned above in this article. The material used for making this mouse pad is quite soft but very durable and if you find this mouse pad a little bigger than your requirement, you can simply cut it with a scissor. This mouse pad gets adjusted and little stuck to whatever the surface you use to use this mouse pad. When you touch this mouse pad with your hand, you can really feel the great quality of this mouse pad and I hope after buying you will also love this mouse pad. This AmazonBaiscs gaming mouse pad is not very fancy and not have any gaming look like other companies such as Razer provides but it is whole black. But apart from its design, if you use this mouse pad for gaming, I am 100% sure you will not be disappointed as your mouse will perform much better with this mouse pad. Otherwise, if you want to buy a mouse pad that has a total gaming look and feel, this mouse pad is not that good for you. Bad Things about AmazonBasics Gaming Mouse Pad High price. Dust gets stuck to it very easily. Not has a very attractive design. Some Precautions for AmazonBasics Gaming Mouse Pad Hand wash only with cold water. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean. In the last, I suggest you that if you want to buy a durable and long lasting mouse pad only one time, you can go with this mouse pad as this has awesome quality and durability. But if you like to buy a mouse pad that not lasts that long and love to change products at some interval of time or you get bored with things easily, you can try some other cheap mouse pads available both online and offline.

During the time of buying, this was the only affordable Deskpad I could find (I bought this for 760 INR), but now I see that market has flurished with more options for cheaper price so this review might be of not much use. Cons - 1. Non stiched edges : I knew this going in, so I knew it will wear off over time. After washing this 4-5 times over these 2 years, now the entire mat is split into two - the bottom rubber layer and the top soft material layer. This is kinda annoying and causing issues (especially if you play fast mouse movement games) as the soft material layer slips and forms wrinkles obstucting the mouse movement at times. (occures only sometimes as the soft layer has some heft to it and is not all loose cloth like, but still annoying when it happens) 2. Washability : It is washable and dryable, (I have only handwashed - not machine washed, so I do not know how that will go). As i mentioned above you will notice the layers starts to peel from the edge quickly as quick as the 2nd wash, but it will extend only after 4-5 washes. Pros - 1. Cheap : (At the time) It was 760INR and I wanted to see how a deskpad will feel in my desk as I had only a small mousepad before. Honestly, I only prefer deskpads after experiencing the.....uses of this. This will essentially act as a covering for your desk, but a bit more elegant that a plastic mat and functions as a mousepad too. I will recomend buying a deskpad over mouse pad, if you have that much area on top of your desk. Conclusion : I would recommed buying a deskpad provided you are in the market for one. Albeit not this one, as there are far more colorful + stiched edged ones in the market now. I myself was looking for one and thought of leaving the review to this one. Over all for an Amazon basic product, I am surprised this lasted 2 years, but I am not gonna replace a deskmat every two years, so I am thinking of going for a better one. Hopefully I will choose well.

Should clean regularly it's just like a dust magnet. Otherwise it a wonderful product

Why did you pick this product vs others?: So far it's working good, for a single player casual gamer like myself, it's enough, the rgb makes the environment quite pleasing to the eye, but it attracts dust quite easily but does not go away so easily. Rest it's working good for me.
