I specifically ordered this ladder because it had a platform. I knew that would provide more stability. It does to a certain extent. I’ve only used it twice, but it is somewhat more stable than the ladder that came with my pool. The removable steps were not a feature I needed, but I think it actually adds some additional stability due to the two sets of poles that it provides on the front of the ladder. (The steps are very easy to remove and reattach, if that’s a feature you need.) The ladder took awhile to assemble. There were no written instructions, just pictures. If a picture is worth a thousand words, in this case they’re only worth 500! But, having put together several other Intex ladders, I figured it out - and you will, too! The reason I gave the ladder a “4” is because it’s just as narrow as all the other Intex ladders. That works great for kids, but I could use a little extra width! Overall, I’m happy with my purchase.

This is so nice that I talked my neighbor into getting one. I love that the front ladder comes off so no one can climb into the pool when I'm not around. It is very sturdy and was easy to put together by myself. The ladder is easy to attach and remove. You can put it up on top when not using, but I am too short to get it back down, so I set it on my deck. Love that I know longer have to lift the ladder in and out of my pool every time I want to swim. This has made summer so much more relaxing. and enjoyable.

I knew when I bought this it was not going to be incredible, but I am pleasantly satisfied. It was way more sturdy than my previous one and I really liked the way we could put the front ladder up out of the way. having 7 grandkids around all the time under 6, We have always worried about little ones getting into the pool when we were not looking. This really solved the problem. No more catching little climbers almost to the top. I know it is not rated for it, but we have a couple of folks that or more than 250lbs. The old ladder would wabble like crazy. This one with the wider stand at the base on both sides plus a solid platform at the top makes it quite a bit more sturdy. Not perfect like a deck built around my pool, but for the price good enough. You don't feel like you are taking your life into your hands trying to climb up and over into the pool. It also seems to be well made. The paint seems very sturdy. We have hardly taken it out of the pool all summer and it still looks like it is in great shape. I will store it in my garage over winter just to make sure it doesn't have to endure the winter elements. My dream is to build a small deck access to the pool with a locking gate, but that won't happen for a long while.

It's a little better than the ladder that came with my pool. Can move steps for safety reasons. Still doesn't feel too sturdy for even lightweights like me.

Sturdy ladder. The landing at the top is so nice compared to the ladder that came with our pool. My favorite thing about this ladder is that the too step goes from one side to the other. So you can have a small kid sit or stand up top. The size was perfect for our pool. We used the bigger height. It has two height options.

tutto perfetto arrivato in ottime condizioni e in anticipo. presa in sostituzione della scaletta originale della piscina laghetto che ormai aveva 15 anni e si era rotta. Facile da montare, la scaletta si presenta bene, di buoni materiali e sembra robusta, vediamo come si comporta nel tempo e se dura quanto la precedente. CONSIGLIO
