Yeah, it looks dorky but it's great for truly unique POV shots or those locked on the talent. The harness is easily hid by putting a jacket on the talent. It's very adjustable and steady when used with small cameras.

After seeing some of the bad reviews, I was worried. However, I bought it anyway and it ended up working very well! Using a Sony A7S and a heavy Rokinon 35mm lens, I was able to get very nice shots without worrying about the camera falling or the rig breaking. The rig is strong enough for the actor to run full speed. For my usage, it is definitely 5-stars.

I looked for many products like this but couldn’t find a good used and tested pov rig until I came across this item.We use this more than we planned and it gives dynamic footage to play with.

This was designed only for widescreen shots.

Pieces don’t fit together no matter how you move the three points. The joint piece is not even built as the paper instructions describe. I tried contacting customer service about what was included before I ordered and never heard back — FYI, you’re not going to get the GoPro or cell phone adaption pieces shown in the video. The video showing you how to assemble the Snorricam100 shows pieces that aren’t even included in what I received.

Piece #3 was not machined correctly. I wasted some time putting it together - and I finally used a drill bit to open the threading; it worked. I called the company to inform them - the next morning, I got a call back, and they overnighted a replacement piece. Great customer service, and they are friendly. I’d buy this again, if I needed one.

You absolutly need one in your kit.And it is very affordable.Add some extra foam because it sizes really big (like pre cut foam from your Pelican cases).Also, use a 17 to 24mm on your camera for the best effect.

I’ve used this twice so far and it has held up great for music video shoots!
