Simply transformational! I have spared no expense transforming my backpacking kit to what (for me) is the most ultralight package possible. Unfortunately I suffered a shoulder injury (separation) which causes chronic pain when side-sleeping. THIS pad is as comfortable as a bed! It is admittedly way heavier than my tent, but I’d leave my tent at home before leaving my Neoloft! AMAZING! I have a collection of backpacking pads that I have cycled thru over the years… I’ll sell them cheap!! Neoloft is the ONLY pad I’ll carry into the backcountry for a (relatively) pain free solid nights sleep. I own a “Sleep Number” bed and this thing rivals it for comfort! It’s THAT good! AND (as if that’s not enough) it’s whisper quiet to sleep and move around on!

My experience is bad with this mattress. First time out and using it on my fold out couch bed in my van on a camping trip it leaked! The welded seam had a noticeable hole so it wouldn’t hold air.At 250.00 for a mattress I was expecting a one and done purchase.Now I’m fighting to get a replacement or refund.Yes I’m going through Amazon but it’s a 3rd party that shipped it out.I’m stuck waiting on a reply from A-Z amazons response platform and the seller that’s not been helpful at all.I wish like all of you to have a great weekend camping with good equipment but I didn’t so buyer beware. This was my experience.Now I just hop I can recover my hard earned money.

I took this on a recent camping trip. the size was great for my needs. it is costly, but worth it. I was well isolated from the cold. One thing I would recommend is to get a air pump or blower as the inflatable bag that is designed to inflate it should be used only in a emergency.

Just got it today, inflated it with an Etenwolf rechargeable air pump that I also got on Amazon, the pad seems nice, I got the regular wide, I recently bought the big agnes campmeister deluxe that's 32x78 and claims 3.8 inches thick. The thermarest pad is very comfortable, its just a tad narrow in my opinion, but being regular length it packs up considerably smaller than the big agnes. Also its silent moving around on it as where the campmeister is crunchy sounding, also the thermarest was considerably less expensive. Other than it being kinda narrow im happy with the purchase. Thermarest, make a 30" please

It's awesome!I am going to start with comfort. God bless thermarest... I am coming from the original, first version, inflatable thermarest released when backpacking was invented, but this the pad is seriously as comfortable as an inflatable mattress., and in reality... well it is basically an inflatable mattress. The inflation bag that comes with it, actually works very well. However, I I did buy a tiny, battery pump because it was used recently as a portable bed to take traveling around and my son slept on it. For backpacking, it packs up easily to fit inside my backpack. I think it is a great pad.

The regular size is just wide enough for an average sized woman with wide hips. A broad man will definitely want a wide. Having said that, this is absolutely the most comfy pad I've ever had. It's only slightly heavier than other pads but is SO worth it if you're going to be out for many nights. I think it's even more comfortable than my bed at home. I got it out of the packing and inflated it right away. Then I laid down on it to make sure there weren't any holes in it (I bought it slightly used which I was nervous about but it came with everything a brand new one would have). I almost fell soundly asleep while testing it out. This is an absolute game changer for me! I'll never backpacking again without it!

Well, considering I got the wrong size and wanted to exchange it or get a refund, never heard anything back from Amazon contacted the third-party where it came from. They couldn’t help me. They told me to contact Amazon finally got a hold of the manufacturer of the item they told me to get a hold of Amazon and as far as a return or refund from Amazon, I haven’t heard a word from you.
