Love it
This mixer works great. It has brought the joy back to my baking. Love it. Easy to clean, but it is heavy.

Heavy 🥣 with great features.
The bowl is HEAVY, and it's loud. Other that I love this mixer and all of the features.

Purchased too soon!!
I am on my 4th mixer now. First we rec'd a used mixer it still had flour residue on it. 2nd one was missing the magnets from the splatter shield, 3rd one just stopped working, the light kept blinking and the power wouldn't turn on. Now I'm on my 4th! I really love this mixer, but it has not been a fun time!! Truthfully, I don't think it'll last for years!!!

Kenmore Ovation versus Kitchenaid Epicurean
I've had a Kitchenaid 6-quart stand mixer for about 20 years. I refer to it affectionately as Goliath. For Christmas, my daughter bought me a Kenmore Ovation Elite based strictly on features. I have used it to make many of the things I've used the Kitchenaid for and saw no noticeable difference in performance although the Kenmore's open top for easy addition of ingredients is the greatest thing since vinegar on French fries. Also, the 100% sealed bowled for a no spill and no flour cloud mixing is also state of the art. Today, I used them at the same time to mix bread dough. I have a bread machine I usually use (pictured in the background) only because I've always been afraid that the stand mixer wouldn't stand up to such a solid load. Both mixers handled the job with ease, but since this is a review of the Kenmore, I will list the pros that the Kitchenaid does not have. I've already mentioned the hole in the head of the machine for adding ingredients easily and the total splash-free mixing guard, but the Kenmore also combined ALL ingredients evenly leaving nothing stuck to the sides of the glass bowl or laying in the deepest part of the bottom of the bowl where the Kitchenaid left some in the bottom. Although neither appliance overheated, the Kenmore stayed slightly cooler to the touch. The Kitchenaid rocked slightly on the counter where the Kenmore did not. I believe it was due to the heft of the load and the fact that the Kitchenaid is considerably taller making its center of gravity higher. All in all, they are both excellent machines for the money (Check pricing as it varies considerably especially on the Kenmore). The weight of each machine is about the same - both monsters, although if you lift the Kenmore from underneath the bowl end, it will easily slide around the counter.***I had read somewhere that the Kitchenaid attachments work on the Kenmore. I've also heard other dispute it, so I had to give it a try. They do in fact work on BOTH appliances. I also heard the same company makes the motors for both appliances, and maybe that's why they work on both. My overall review: I would go with the Kenmore Ovation Elite based on its state-of-the art features. I believe it pushed this mixer over the top.

Wife very happy
This unit works really good. Mixes everything with ease and thoroughly. Pouring from the top is a wonderful feature. Only thing is that it is heavy to lift.

My go to mixer
This mixer is a beast. I’ve had it a week and have used it 5 times. I love the pour chute, now the grandkids can help without fear of lost fingers. I like that the glass bowl has straight sides, it’s easier to scrape down the sides. The light for the mixing is awesome. No more shadows. Another great feature is the mixing starts off slowly then come up to speed-no more flour flying everywhere. I’m selling my kitchen aid and Breville mixers. Whoever designed this -kudos are deserved. I bet the designer was a baker. This isn’t a review for a free product-I purchased my own.

Very heavy
I love the idea of the opening on the top for adding ingredients. The splash guard however does not snap in place when the mixer is raised. It’s awkward to hold it in place while you put the attachment that you are going to use in place. When you lower it down you have to hold the splash guard in place over the bowl.
