I’ve used Oral-B forever, but their new “updated” Oral-B is horrible! It shreds in your teeth when trying to floss. I spent too long trying to dig shredded pieces out from between my teeth and finally threw it all away. (Yes, all the new Oral-B I bought). After some research, I tried This Reach ribbon, waxed floss and I’m a happy camper! It’s strong, flexible but very effective and absolutely no shredding. I love it!

Kind of a wordy review but want to explain this well. I changed to this floss mainly because of the PFAS issue with the other flosses. As a bonus, I found that this floss is wonderful for tight teeth and, really, a game changer. A hint my dentist had was to just pull the floss through the teeth and not try to back it out, which I have done for years....but THIS floss kind of corkscrews through the teeth by the gum line, and cleans better IMHO, but more importantly for me, it never breaks. I used a very popular product before and just resigned myself to wasting a ton of it due to breaking every.single.time. EVERY single time. I just figured it was my lot in life. Nope, not with this floss. I wish everyone the good luck with this one as I am having. Anyway, give it a try and see if it works as well for you. But PULL the floss through for best results. Plus, my dentist said that you are actually flossing MORE that way too....not just a bit of back and forth, but inches of floss going through the teeth. Makes sense!

This is the best dental floss ever !!! I'm not sure how "they do it" but it's flexible and it doesn't break !!!Every other brand and type that I've used (over many, many decades) is either difficult to get between my teeth or it breaks when I am flossing, especially between my molars and wisdom teeth, or it creates painful indents when it's wound around my fingers. "Reach" may leave indents but they're not painful.

My teeth are really close together. Hard to get floss in there, to do its job getting the gunk out. The old kind of floss either frays and breaks while I am using it, or is just too thick to get between my teeth at all. "Glide" works OK, and for years it was my favorite brand; wife still uses it. But I like this "Reach" better. It's thin & slippery, and also has an stretching elasticity to it, which Glide lacks.

Does the job

I have been using dental floss I bought from Costco for years. The last time I got some, there was a change in packaging and it was called "advanced". The new floss often got stuck between my teeth, plus shredded and broke easily. But, I used all six containers. I was glad when it was time to get new, and this time went with brand # 2 at Costco. It had the same issues- maybe even worse. This time I decided I was not going to subject myself and my teeth to finish that floss. It went in the garbage. My teeth are worth it. I ordered REACH ULTRA CLEAN from Amazon based on its reviews. It is by far the best floss I have ever used. Buy it, you will not be disappointed!

I used glide floss for years, but suddenly it now shreds and pieces break and become lodged between my teeth. I tried many other brands and had the same problem with shredding, but this one is thinner and STRONGER and does not shred for me. Like other reviewers have stated, it’s not easy to get it out of the container. It was twisted inside and the little case came apart when I tried to pull out the floss. So I just keep it out of the little container and use scissors to cut off the length I need, and it works fine. I gave it five stars because the main thing I was looking for was a product that would not shred so I’m satisfied.
