Very informative
If you are thinking of buying a red light or near infra red light unit, this is a must read. Gives you lots of information as to the "why you should have one", "what type you should consider" and all the scientific gumf, if you are that way inclined. Not specifically linked to any marketing company. That has to be a good thing.

THE ONLY RED LIGHT THERAPY GUIDE WORTH READING!
I have been hearing about red light therapy for a while now but none of the information has been coherently presented or properly researched. Until Now! The Ultimate Guide To Red Light Therapy by Ari Whitten! It is exceptionally thorough and very well written. Ari takes a very scientific view of anything he studies and talks about. This book stands out in its field and is THE definitive guide. I highly recommend Ari's book that covers the A-Z of red light therapy! Don’t waste your money on lesser books on this subject. Everything you need to know about red light is said clearly and efficiently in this book. Congratulations Ari on an excellent book!

A great read covering the basics of self treatment 👍🏻
A great read for anyone wanting to know more about red light therapy in simple, easy to understand terms, and written in an easily digestible format. There is some repetition, but that maybe for those who choose not to read the book cover to cover. There are recommendations for specific devices, and even uses some images from some of the manufacturers website. Dosing etc strategies are based around these devices. That said, the author also provides a useful section so that you can make the relevant calculations for yourself should you decide to go with another manufacturer - do your own research. The book also provides discount codes for use on the recommended devices, which may prove handy, or .....The book is littered with references to back up many of the statements made which is useful if there are specific avenues you want / need to explore (including an article relating to its use in pregnancy hidden in the Q&A section - p246).It is geared predominantly towards the consumer / LED market, rather than the practitioner market where (cold therapy) lasers may want / need to be explored as well / instead.

The ultimate guide to red light therapy
Absolutely amazed by the benefits as described by the Author. I have many books on physiology and biology etc and this rates amongst the best of them. His knowledge is astounding. I am so glad I bought this particular book. I was highly delighted that I chose to purchase a commercial sauna for my business based on his work and knowledge. I also found that tge company I chose to purchase from was recommended by doctors I follow. Such as dr Tom Cowan. It turns out when I spoke initially to the company and I was suggesting they must read this incredible book I was so impressed with. They actually knew Dr Ari Whitten and take advise from him. When I was told this I knew I had chosen the correct sauna company. This book is a must for anyone interested in knowing the inns and outs of a frared light therapy. I always read my books and tab them to make into quick reference libraries as you can see from my picture.

"Ultimate Guide"?! - focus almost entirely on NIR (+ recommendations useless outside N. America)
I recently acquired both an NIR heat lamp and a FIR "sauna" blanket, but this book ignores the latter almost entirely (except to claim, erroneously, that there is not much scientific evidence for its efficacy in the promotion of skin health and wellbeing. I have given the book a mediocre rating, because the title says "THE ULTIMATE GUIDE" and I therefore expected it to deal with ALL red and infrared light treatments, especially FIR, which is a major field. The recommendations for devices is based entirely on what is available in North America, and as these are unlikely to be safe to plug in in the UK or EU (owing to the high wattage) not very useful. In fairness, the book is very comprehensive and I'm sure useful if you'rea) in North America andb) only interested in Near Infrared (NIR) and red spectrum LED treatments- it gives only scant attention to others and does so mostly in order to dismiss them.In short, this book evangelises NIR to the near-exclusion of other red-light therapies.
