61W USB-C Power Adapter Charger, Compatible with Mac Book Pro 13-inch 65W Lenovo Asus Laptop ,with USB Port (5V Mobile Phone Charger) with USB-C to USB-C Cable

I bought this because I needed the cord, not the adapter, and this was the first time I had to bother w/ a USB-C cable. I was in a hurry and just needed something that would charge my laptop (MacBook Pro 13"). I won't get started on all the different types of USB nonsense out there since this review is for this specific charger, not the USB specification. Let's just say: "Universal" Serial Bus? This specification seems anything but universal.That being said, on to the charger itself. I've used it on and off for a few weeks now, when I'm at a location where I don't have access to the adapter that came with the laptop. It worked fine at first, like the other reviews say. Then, one day I started hearing this humming sound. When I located the source, it turned out be the adapter. This only happens when my laptop has been disconnected for a while and the adapter needs to charge a depleted battery. I'm now concerned about leaving it plugged in unattended, because that hum does not sound safe; frankly, it sounds like a fire hazard. It does still charge the laptop, though, as of today.Yesterday my system did not recognize the charger for quite some time. I had to unplug and plug it back in several times, and then, at random it seemed, after leaving it plugged in for a few minutes, my system picked it up.Between the deteriorating reliability and the safety hazard, I cannot recommend purchasing this product.**Update**This adapter is now all but completely useless. I was previously able to get some use out of it by plugging both cables from the adapter into my laptop, but now that doesn't even work. It may or may not charge at any given time. If I didn't have the original adapter, I imagine I'd have been wondering if it was my system going bad. I've dropped my rating to one star, and will be dropping this adapter in the recycling bin.

Used this to power a 2018 MacBook 15” and had it plugged in to charge 0-60% battery and it worked but it stopped charging and when I picked it up it was hot enough to burn you. Sucks because the design of it is nice. It’s probably only suitable for iPads or lower amp devices.

It did work once after I received it. Then when I used it a second time, it couldn't charge my laptop at all. Just stopped working for no reason. The experience was horrible. If this happens not only to me, but also to many others, please stop producing and selling such products--it is a waste of resources.

I bought this power supply to leave in my luggage. I didn't meed to use it for a year, and when I finally took it out of the box, it worked once, then every time I tried to use it again on my trip, it wouldn't charge my laptop... no matter how many different plugs I tried in various hotels and offices. Total piece of junk sold for a very high price.

The adapter for macbook is worth its price. It is light and easy to carry and charge my laptop quickly.

Charger has some nice features, like a USB charging port, but one morning I found my computer dead even though it had been plugged in to this charger overnight. I tried several outlets but it just stopped working.

Do not buy! This charger stopped working after 1 use, approximately 12 hours after I received. I bought it in a pinch after misplacing my MacBook charger on a work trip, such a mistake not buying the real deal. Waste of money and time.

This charger does not work with my 13” MacBook Pro. Most of the time, my computer doesn’t recognize a charger is plugged in at all and when it does, it doesn’t actually charge. I’ve been using it plugged into an HDMI adapter and that helps my computer recognize it more consistently but it still doesn’t charge and runs between 0-4%, not getting any higher than that.
