The neck is one piece mahogany with a beautiful Rosewood fingerboard. These are the Tokai Mk.2 pickups and there are very definitely three of them sitting in an awesome row. CTS pots and Switchcraft three position selector and jack socket which is gold coloured to finish off the impeccable look of this guitar. As is normally the case, the toggle switch gives you:- Bridge in the down 'TREBLE' position Bridge + Middle in the middle position Neck in the up position or 'RHYTHM' as it is marked. The range of tones from this defy the normal 'LP esque' sound most folks would assume to be coming from a guitar this shape. And it's so extremely versatile too... For instance, by turning the neck tone way down and leaving the bridge full on, you can get three great and very different tones just by flicking the switch. Add to that the variance you can introduce with the volumes controls set differently to each other and you've got something that'll step up for a solo without touching or pressing a thing!
