DOOM: The Dark Ages – Xbox Series X

This is NOT Doom Eternal, It’s Doom the dark ages. I don’t know why people are complaining about this not being exactly like Doom Eternal, we want NEW STUFF not the same ol game with some new maps, THIS ISNT CALL OF DUTY!Yes there aren’t the glory kills like in Eternal, there’s a different type of finish system. I mean Eternal glory kills got a bit old once you seen the SAME ANIMATIONS a hundred times, then they just became time killers. This version of Doom is great IMO and I really like the Shield aspect and them making the DOOM SLAYER a TOTAL TANK! I mean you’re the DOOM SLAYER and have NO FEAR of Demons or ANYTHING of that matter. I absolutely love this Doom and so do the vast majority of folks, there’s just the same ol same ol “we hate everything, and Complain about Everything, spoiled entitled crowd minority” out there trying to bash YET ANOTHER GAME.One thing I do wish they would implement back into the game, is the fast travel option to go back and pick up secrets you may have missed or a select option from the level select menu. Because if you forget to check your map and miss some secret and have no path back, YOU NEED TO REPLAY THE ENTIRE MISSION. So LOOK AT YOUR MAP OFTEN, if you’re trying to 100% the game.Other than that, A HOMERUN DONT CHANGE ANYTHING!!

I buy about one game every two years preferring first-person shooters. Doom Dark Ages is that once every two years game for me. Very challenging, but very satisfying game. Buy it and get ready to lose sleep because won’t stop playing!

This game is awesome from start to finish. The shield gameplay mechanics really added to the fun when mowing down demons in the battle field. The mech and dragon gameplay was a lot of fun too. The cutscenes were a pleasure to watch as well, made the game more cinematic. This is an awesome game and I highly recommend you get it if you love first person shooters.

It is really a good game if you have been a fan since ID Software’s first introduction almost 40 years ago. But to be honest it lacks some of the magic that it had back then or maybe I did…simple gameplay, Search and Destroy,. It can not compare with Destiny or the new Boarderlands. I have only played campaign mode so maybe my opinion is off.

This latest entry is slower than the last one, but it’s still got the speed and the fund of a doom game!

Excellent just simply excellent, super entertaining intuitive and simple to follow, stays in line with the previous doom game story telling well worth the money
