Pros:-Cost. This BOV is much less expensive than most on the market. Especially for one made of metal. You’ll see a lot of knock offs made of plastic and suffer poor valve response.-Convenience. Iv’e installed a few of these on various cars and this is by far the simplest to install. Where most require a flange and other components, some even welding, this one is ready to bolt on(as long as your vehicle is compatible) right out of the box. While I do highly recommend buying a gasket for install and a hose plug for your recirculation hose, anyone without experience can install this.Cons:-Performance. There is no performance benefits from this. Some of the higher quality BOV’s will help by recirculating the air on the entry side of the turbo to help keep it spinning. This one does not. 100% vent to atmosphere.-Sound quality. Yes, it is louder. But it sounds like a $35 BOV.Overall: If you’re looking to just add a little sound to your turbo for low cost, this is the way to go. If you want performance and quality sound you’re going to have to be willing to spend a little extra money and maybe a little bit more difficult install.For me, I’m going to leave it on for fun until I have some extra cash and will be upgrading to a quality dual port for performance and sound.
