Meyer Dwarf Lemon Tree 35 Seeds indoor/outdoor

I read a lot online about how to grow these kind of seeds. I followed all instructions I found. Unfortunately only 2 or 3 seeds grew. And shortly after reaching about 2-3 centimeters tall, they died.Ironically, the tomato seeds they sent as a "gift" actually performed better. Not all of them sprouted, but I still have 3 of them alive and growing.I think the main problem with these seeds is that, taking so long to arrive (about a month) they dry out. By the time they arrive they are not in the best condition to be planted. Some of them looked like little pebbles.Next time I'll go to a local garden shop.

I received the seeds almost a whole month early. Only two of the seeds in the package are damaged. I didn't count the number, but it looks like I received closed to 50 seeds instead of 35. I am rating a 3 right now because I just placed them in water and peroxide this morning to disinfect them and haven't started germinating them yet.. I will keep this updated.

My son wanted to grow a lemon tree but we live in an area with harsh winters where we cannot grow a lemon tree outside. We were excited to find seeds for a dwarf tree that could be kept indoors. I was concerned after reading some of the reviews that they would not sprout. We soaked the seeds for two hours and then planted them in an individual domed cupcake container filled with potting soil recommended for citrus, cactus and succulents. The cupcake container kept the heat and moisture in. We placed the container on an Apollo heat mat that we bought on Amazon which kept the soil warm. Within 5 days 4 of the 5 seeds we started with had sprouted. We are excited to watch the trees grow. We also received some safflower seeds as a bonus with our order. Our seeds sprouted successfully. I think keeping the soil warm and moist was the key.

Wish I could give a 0 star rating. Received this item after waiting a month and a half for shipping only to receive dead seeds. It is not hard to tell if the seed is dead. Put the seed in a cup full of water, if the seed floats then the seed is dead. If the seed sinks then the seed is viable. Not a single on sunk. But I still left the seed in a cup of water under direct light from a grow light and who would have guessed it. The seeds did nothing. Would not recommend this product at all. was a waist of my time and money.

I was worried about the seeds germinating after reading some of the previous reviews. The seeds came without planting tips so after a little research I soaked them for a week and then read they would rot if you soaked them more than 24 hrs. I planned then with little hope by that point and saw no results for about 5 weeks. Now I have 20 trees growing at various stages! I'm sure some won't survive the transplanting but I'm confident they will continue to grow well.

First of all, We received the seeds late - too late for the season.Second There were no instructions for us to plant them or the language was in Chinese on all seeds I ordered and received.I could not tell what pack I was planting most of the time - since the package had a different name or was in Chinese.Regardless - None of the seeds grew. NONEThis was all a total waste of money and time.

The seeds arrived on time. The information I have read on line about how to plant them said to soak them first, and that any seeds that float are not viable. All of the seeds that I received are floating, and many are obviously cracked open and dried out. Seeds from a fresh lemon may have a greater chance of germinating, but be aware that it takes about 15 years for a tree to produce, and that some never do, so if you want a Meyer lemon tree, it is best to get a plant or a cutting. Completely unsatisfactory.
