Gnarly
Good board, good construction but noticably warped underfoot. Appears Amazon does not yet know how to properly store/ or deliver wooden products. I've ordered a few boards here and this hasn't been an issue in the past, but the kicktail of my most recent board is compressed/flattened to a unsatisfactory degree. The whole reason I skate bamboo is for the pop factor, so... Bong. A swing and a miss. No hate though still five stars.

Perfect for 95% of riders
There could be a tiny handful of skaters who are better off with a full maple board. Maybe those who are super heavy and looking for less flex? Maybe someone who is board sliding some really rough surfaces? The bamboo board is a little softer on the bottom so it will scratch but it seems only cosmetic to me. Personally, I don't even pay attention to the bottom of my board because I tear it up after one day of riding on any board (maple or not) -- skateboards are meant to be scratched and dinged up. As long as it doesn't snap, I'm good. But for the vast majority of riders it's perfect. If you are a beginner, there's absolutely no reason why these bamboo boards won't work for you. Some mentioned that these boards have more concave but I just happen to like that. If the manufacturer starts making different levels of concave, it will appeal to a larger group of people. I guess some prefer almost no concave like a 1980's vert board but to each their own. I also prefer the tiny extra bit of flex to reduce impact when I don't land on bolts. If you land on bolts most of the time, I don't see how this board would feel any different when landing. Let's be honest though: 80% of real world riders don't land anything! It's dumb to think that any equipment is holding them back from becoming the next Ryan Sheckler. These bamboo boards are basically mostly the same as any maple board. It's definitely not some sketchy piece of shot like a cheap walmart board.

Awesome skateboard
I was hesitant to buy a bamboo board because I have been riding maple decks for the last 20 years but I can say now that I really like the way it feels. It does seem to have a little more "pop" than other decks I have ridden. It doesn't feel soft at all and actually I think it feels a little stiffer than my last deck. It slides really well. The hardness of the bamboo make it slide really fast. I will be buying these from now on.

Fun board, but not durrable enough.
I bought it because I skate bamboo long boards and like the flexy feeling. I'm 200 lbs and can really feel it. Its satisfying to power slide because of the flex, and pop tricks because of the flex feel pretty springy, and landing on it is a little less harsh. But the 1 significant down side, is the bottom layer is soft. I wore through the first layer on my first session and I'm getting close to razor tail after a hand full of skate sessions. Tbh as a park board, its just too soft. But with soft wheels and its flex, going over crusty pavement is nothing.

Surprisingly good
I’ve only skated this deck for a few sessions, but I was previously using it as a balance board. Using it as a balance board, I noticed it definitely had some flex, but never felt like it was in danger of snapping despite having my weight pressing down on the ends of the board for long periods of time. Using it as a skateboard, the board feels really good under my feet, and the flex gives my pop a little boost and gives a little cushion to landing. I’ve even had some sloppy landings with my foot on the tail and it didn’t show any signs of weakness. I think despite this being less firm than a maple deck, it may actually be more durable. Will definitely be buying more of these.

I'm still skating the first of these bamboo decks I bought a few months ago and decided to buy another as a spare! I've been skating about 20 years and am now a bit heavier (~100kg) and I can honestly say these bamboo decks are fantastic, they don't bend or warp as some of the online reviews say, it's sturdy and the pop has lasted even with heavy regular use. My only real gripe is the shape, it's slightly pointy and long, if they worked on this then they would be unstoppable, these decks would be everywhere! An interesting thing I found is that because bamboo is a little more compliant, boardslides on rails took just a little more leaning back as the soft bamboo acted very slightly as a brake, slowing me down. That's a small point though, once you use this deck a few times you'll have it sussed out, excellent deck!
