In/Above Ground Pool Pump, Self Primming High Flow (with Timer, 2HP, 8120 GPH, 220V)

Quietest pump I've ever had! I did hire a pool guy to install it so I cannot speak on that but he did need some kind of adapter to connect to in-ground system. I've got it running 24hrs a day for 2 weeks now with no issues and I can only hear it when I'm right next to the pool house as opposed to the constant HUMMMMM our last two pumps broadcast across the yard. Additionally, when I vacuumed it was probably the best suction ever! This is definitely a great choice if you're looking for a decent pump on a budget- even for a 25,000 gal in ground!

Took 45 min of fitting changes from an old Hayward entire 1 HP, then 15 min to hook up electrical and it is working flawlessly. The timer works great and the pool vac has never worked better. 30,000 gallon inground salt pool is crystal clear. Extremely quiet and going up to 1 1/2 hp made a huge difference. The skimmer works so much better. I highly recommend it. Then register it and get another year of replacement warranty. I love it. Price is great. To replace my Hayward with the same would have cost 4 times more.

Shoddy pump, noisy, loses ability to self-prime within 6 months. Was fine until it stopped functioning. Good motor, faulty pump. This is the second time this pump has failed. The original pump lasted for years and was whisper quiet. The noise from these Vidapool pumps is outrageous.

Works good so far. Only negative in my opinion is the timer has to be set at same time you want it to start. So if halfway through the day you decide to vacuum pool, then to get it back on the right timer cycle the next day you have to start it again at exact time you want it to start.

WONDERFUL PURCHASE! Our pump went out during the winter and we decided to try one from Amazon (cheaper price of course). We ordered and received it in a timely manner and was hesitant about hooking it up but it was super simple. had to add some PVC piping and also boards underneath in order to bring it to the correct level, but all in all it was an easy process. We ordered the 2HP for our 10,000 gallon inground pool and the pump has lots of pressure for all of the jets. Would recommend this pump. anxious to see the durability of it.

The pump claims to have 2 inch fittings. They are odd sized and aren’t compatible to normal pvc sizes.

Quiet! Great value for system easy install and great quality with timer. Power is perfect and more than enough for above ground pool or in ground with 2 hp./220.

Replaced original hayward without any issues plus love the timer option
