Entry alarm
My application was for stand alone entry alarm. The output was connected to a cube relay and the dry contact was wired directly to the building entry alarm.

Motion Sensing Upgrade to your Shop Light
The ECOELER Motion Sensor Switch is a nice product. I mounted it to the end of a LED shop light to activate the light when we entered the garage from the house. Works flawlessly, and puts light safely on the stairs before you reach them. Well overdue upgrade to my light. If you need motion sensoring for a shop light, this is your ticket. Buy this!Update: The sensor still operates as designed; however, the sensitivity has lessened. When first installed, it was so quick to activate I felt a challenge materialize. I proceeded to attempt a "surprise" to catch it in the off mode. I was not successful as the thing would key off the movement of the door. Now, I can open the door and get to the first step before it triggers. I still like it and recommend it for your application, but wanted to provide an update.

Works fine, sensitivity of 20ft is a stretch
I prefer not using light switches in my garage since our hands are usually full if we're in there. But I also don't like running our "fan blade" LED bulbs 24/7, because it decreases their lifespan and they do chew through a decent amount of electricity. So I bought this to control them automatically.Installation was straightforward. I didn't have a junction box to connect it to, since our garage has open rafters and the junction box is between rafters, which would have reduced visibility to the sensor. I made it work using industrial-grade velcro. My only gripe is the claimed sensitivity of 20 feet. My garage is 20x20, with a door on one side and washer/dryer on the opposite wall. I mounted it around halfway between them, a little closer to the door, and around 9' high. I thought I'd have ample coverage wall to wall. But in reality, I have to step fully through the door to be detected, and if we spend too much time at the washer, it turns off the light. So, actual sensitivity seems to max out around 10-12 feet (diagonally from the sensor to your center of mass).

Cautiously Optimistic
This is my second one. The first was bad right out of the box. I'm not just a DIY'er, I'm a master electrician of 30 years. I know for a fact it was installed properly. Got the second one installed, and it's working as it should.

Easy installation
Pantry light. The pantry light switch is mounted on the outside wall of the pantry just by the door, and is quite often forgotten to be turned off. The light is flush mounted inside on a high ceiling so putting this sensor up near the light was not really an option. I decided to drill a small hole through the wall directly behind the light switch, 1/4" hole, and mount the sensor on the inside wall behind the light switch. I 3D printed a "conversion box" so that I didn't have to make a large hole for this sensor in the drywall. The box has a hole to suit the sensor mount and a smaller (1/4") protrusion that fits neatly into the drywall. Wired it all up keeping the original switch in circuit and it works like a charm. The light adjustment is not mentioned in the instructions but you can adjust so that the sensor will trigger on even if there is light present, or only in darkness or anywhere in between.

Never really did get it to work.
Either it was on all the time, or off. The sensor switches seem to be very inconsistent. Now I will try another one from a different seller.

Delightfully simple and straight forward
This unit does exactly what is says it will do and performs well. I have a small room that the switch was difficult to access. I was able to add this device to the overhead fluorescent fixture and it works great! Also, the feature of being able to press two release buttons and detach the sensor to make sensor adjustments without uninstalling the wiring is a nice touch. As others have mentioned, the included wiring diagram is not technically correct, as it shows the red wire being tied to the white neutral after going to the load. Just ignore that and run the red to the load and it should work just fine. This will seem automatic to any experienced electrical handy person, so trust your instincts. It was a fun and rewarding little project that was inexpensive and now makes me smile every time I enter that room and no longer have to be annoyed to find the light switch. Enjoy! :-)

Works ok
I put in our closet works ok except if it has light it doesn't want to turn on unless it's dark.
