Snakes and Ladders - Specialist Games for Dementia / Alzheimer's by Active Minds

This was not chutes but rather snakes and ladders. My mom has demetia and the sight of the snakes bothered her, so the game was returned. The manufacturers need to rethink this is if they are catering to people with dementia, certain things are scary to them and their feara are very real to them. I ended up buying the childrens version in a thrift store and everyone is happy now...no more snakes

Bought this for my mom who has severe dementia and was starting to disengage in daily life. Playing this game with her brought such enjoyment and enable me to connect with her once again. It’s simple and fun. I highly recommend this product and many of the Active Mind activities. This puzzles, art products and games brought new life to my mom. Thank you Active Minds!

Introduced this to several clients with dementia yesterday, and talk about fun!!! They had a total laugh-fest! We played 3 times, then had to let some others play! I would HIGHLY recommend this, as clients and volunteers both had a blast!

I like the durability of the game, but a die would be much better than the cards do decide the move.
